yeah it does Hope can be Hope cahill or Hope diamond(the mission about)

 		I just solved that too, but snuibi beat me to it.

It does seem more significant, but at the same time...kind of a given.

Am I alone in thinking that since Dan and Amy deserve it the most, that they're going to get to the 39 Clues first? (the classic thought that those who follow the rules reap the rewards?)

i think no one (of the book) can get all the 39 clues because of Hope's hand (copper ,clue 4)she is dead so no one can find that clue

The site got cooler. So after getting the 8 clues what do we do? It was really cool for like 30 minutes. The little thing at the top of the page with messages, what is the point?

 		OFFENSE! Besides, I definitely didn't nab that diamond last month and test it thoroughly, but I can say that it's not the diamond you're looking for. Besides, everyone knows the clue is(just a sec, lemme get out my code sheet... ah, here we go) 7-20-18-15-14. It makes sense, y'know? This is the Hope Diamond we're talkin' about.

 		In TST it is written that Gideon and Olivia Cahill were the first ever Cahills. So that's why Gideon was written on the first page of OFN. However in MOB, the first page has roman numerals on the skulls. and i think tha A=1 code is applicable to this. so i tried and there are the letters r, d, e, n, i, a, and l. what does that mean? (not sure if this has been posted already)

Our best guess is that it's an anagram of Ireland (although "Ian Red L" has also been proposed)

Okay, in that case, I'm nice enough to not give you my ideas under four levels of code. I think that the clue's probably boron, since, you know, it's the only significant element in the hope diamond(besides diamond) and I'm pretty sure it's what causes the phosphorescence, and really sure it's what makes it blue.

I don't like that they took away the leader board. I like to see where I am in relation to other players. I know what place I'm in but I like to know how many points I"ll need to pass the person in front of me. So if your in 3rd let me know how many dang points I'll need to kick your butt.

I agree, but I think it helped with all the people cheating. If someone has an ego trip about cheating to get on the leaderboard, but there isn't a leaderboard, they might be less likely to do it.
In addition, we got less posts here from people complaining about the cheaters.
