I've noticed that if a directory exists you get redirected to 404.php, but if it doesn't, you stay in place.

So, for example:

http://www.thewaytheirworldended.com/IveGotALuverleyBunchOfCoconuts

Will stay as-is. But:

http://www.thewaytheirworldended.com/SYS

Will redirect you to:

http://www.thewaytheirworldended.com/404.php

I know this doesn't help us much (NOB RUTEFO RCING!) but it is something...

Not that I have any idea where to go from here.

Yeah, I don't know where the avatar is from. It is not a common Halo-related site like the last one... so alas, I am of little help in that regard Sad

The riddle is, of course, back to the story of the two sisters. They prayed to Kluskap who told them not to look back, but the younger one did. And became flame (shooting star). There's no mention of a tree in the story though...

As they were returning to earth she got up to soon and they got stuck in a tree on the way down.
I think this is the answer. And now where to put it...

Edit: Is there any significance to "This looks like a great place!" Possibly meaning that this forum could be the end of our search?
