 		Hi Auz,
I can identify with the confusion about time travel Smile
I also don't see anything about a second virus attack in 2012.

Up till now the book/diary/log seems pretty straight forward:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

First two pages:
Date: May 1 2012
Says it's exactly 3 years since the virus was spread.
That means the virus started spreading on May 1st, 2009.
This fits the newspaper clipping on the TSO myspace.

Second two pages:
Date: August 13th 2012
Future Adam finds out he is able to move data back in time.

Last two pages:
August 15th 2012 + February 10th 2009
I think this means that for future Adam it is Aug. 15, 2012,
BUT, he has contacted "Present" Adam for which the date at that point
is February 10, 2009 (which fits with his blog entry on that date).

On February 10 (for us players almost a month ago), Adam still has to leave Europe, Dante still is around etc. So, I think Future Adam references these events still have to happen to "present" Adam (which they did).

 		I think that the 'first coming' of the virus is a speculation, probably due to the early hint on Adam blog's comments.

PS: to add images to a post, I simply surround the URL of the images with [ img ] [/ img ] tags. Alternatively we could grab the image and upload them here as attachments (when you are posting a message here on the forum, in the top-left corner of the screen there should be an 'Options' section including an 'Add an attachment' link).  		Ok, forgive me if this has already been suggested, I'm still playing catch up, but it looks to me, from what I've read, like the relationship between EYE and Dante could be important as we progress. I can't shake the feeling that, as others have suggested, EYE is some sort of AI system or something similar. We also know that Dante is a bit of a computer whizz, a programmer. Could it be that Dante is EYE's programmer? Hence the reason Dante and EYE are connected and also the reason that both left TSO at the same time.
We know from the last clue that there are people in the future who have worked out how to communicate with the past, but they cannot physically travel backwards themselves. Could EYE be a web-based AI creation that is allowing those in the future to have a more direct influence on events in the past?

 		Revelation 6:8 deals with the fourth seal (that normally starts with 6:7): The fourth rider of the Apocalypse: Death

Revelation 6:9 to 6:11 deals with the fifth seal: Souls Under the Altar, which is regarding the info at http://www.wcg.org/lit/bible/Rev/sixseals.htm a metaphor for martyrdom.

[SPEC] Not sure what to do with this info. Maybe just a reference for martyrdom.[/SPEC]

I'll [SPEC] that the Virus deadly nature prompted this connection with the fourth seal. [/SPEC].

ANyone seen any of the characters from the story in the chat room till now ? Every time I checked in it was empty (or _Dice was in it Smile

Yes, BUT hotlinking (the [IMG] approach) has some drawbacks: More traffic to the hosting site (which in case of myspace is not a problem I think) and if the original image is deleted on the hosting site it will not be shown here. So I would prefer uploading the image as an attachment. No idea about the forum's policy regarding hotlinking.
