Cool reply, Adventure. Thanks for sharing.
No one has mentioned this....
When I popped the picture into a word document,
I highlighted it, and the blue picture turned red.
Couldn't see anything else there.

That may sound like a "duh!" moment, but when
I highlight the "a", all the blue squares turn yellow.

Q51

Found the eye pic below the ranking list. It's the same as on the level, so i think it's not important.

Also noticed something about the a-picname.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For me it's var06a106 and when you take v=06, w=07 and so on, r would become 106, maybe just a coincidence, but who knows Smile
Btw, the sum of the numbers from 1 to 14 is 105

But still can't do anything with this, so probably it's not very helpful at all Sad

Interesting.. it might be not important but it made me think ..
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the ranking list was involved in this level. In example: one blue square = 00000001 = 1 in decimal = first person on the ranking list.

The pips could refer to the column, and the #th block where the pips are on could refer to the #th letter.

Tried to work with this idea, but so far I only got gibberish.

Some general info. Pips can be on the first, second, third, but too fourth square. Amount of pips (so far I know): one, four or five.

On another note.. the alternate text for the eye picture on the ranking list page is Q10. I may hope this doesn't mean question 10 and that we don't have to memorize question 10 to solve Q51. Confused

q24

Stuck on question 24 with the watch & compass.

I've figured out
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
to get a word from the first line, in this case i got SPECIAL and then to use the compass directions to form more letters; I've got NE-SE N-S NW-NE N-S NE-SE, which I think gives me EHOHE (although the o has a line over it). And the word at the bottom of the note is DUTY.
I just can't figure out what to do with that information.

Copy of note below for reference and just in case I didn't do the first parts right.

Your first line is right, but not the second one. You don't have to involve the "-"-sign in your letters Wink
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
e.g. NE-SE = < (=C) not E!

about Q51:
Only could see my pic so far, so I wonder, if there are some accordances in the different pics too Dunno
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
E.g. for me, there are 4 tiles marked, 1 with 5 pips, 3 with 1 pip each, so together there are 8 pips.
The 4 tiles together have 13 squares, and without the marked squares there are 9 squares, which is also the number of letters in the question.

Btw, i wonder, if it could mean something, that there are each time two spaces between the words in the question.

A couple things...
First, what is the ranking list? If I don't know, others here might not know either. But then there is a lot about codes I don't know.

Second, minime mentioned the letters in the question.
I've been wondering if they are important: cAn U C?

Just the musings of a wandering mind.

I meant the WIQ-TOP page, where all the players are listed:
http://www.worldofiq.co.cc/top.php

At the end of the list, you can find the pic. But i'm pretty sure, i've seen it on some of the previous levels too, iirc it was on a few of the memeory test levels.

About the letters, i'm clueless too Dunno

*slaps forehead* Oh, THAT ranking list!
Thanks, minime. I really thought you might be referring
to something in the Source Code. I can be really dumb
sometimes.

Q26

Thanks minime and AUZ505 for help on Q24.

I'm on Q26, and I figured out what to do
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I drew lines as indicated in the chart and came up with something that looks like a line with a diamond on top with 2 arrows shooting off of the base of the line at 45 (ish) degree angles. I have no idea what it's supposed to be. Makes me think of a 3-space graph or a lamp post or something, but I don't think either of those are the answer. I even erased all the unnecessary dots to simplify things, but to no avail.

Hmmm, hard to say what this could be without seeing it Dunno
Maybe you also made some mistakes with the drawing, because when i did it, the object i got was petty obvious.

@pseudoidiot, I pmed you. I hope I got it right.

Regarding Q51, the creators confirmed that the "eye" picture has nothing to do with the question. All we need is the "A" picture.

Back to the drawing board..

Maybe. I've tried redrawing it a couple times, and I've gotten the same thing. I saw mention somewhere of someone having duplicate numbers in the starmap and I looked for that as well. So, I'm pretty confident of the image I have. But, the next step of figuring out what the heck it's supposed to be is beyond me, apparently Smile

Links for reference:
Table.
Starmap.

EDIT: Figured it out. Thanks, Adventure. I would never have gotten that on my own.

What is this????? Shocked
A klingon bird of prey? An umbrella (when you turn it upside down)?

Looks like there is an error somewhere in the table, because it is not symmetric. Dunno

Edit: About Q51:
Adventurik was so kind to send me two other a-pics, now i'm even more confused Very Happy There is an a-pic with only three marked tiles too Shocked

Maybe we work in the wrong direction when we want to find out the meaning of the pips. Maybe we have to find out the number of pips of the unmarked tiles? I saw on the pics, that same tiles have the same number of pips on the same square, e.g. the 2-tile ( blue red ), has one pip on the blue square in each picture. Does anyone know, if this is always so or can this vary?

Q27

On Q27 and want to verify I'm on the right track. If I am, there might be an error.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I get how to get numbers from the shapes. What's throwing me for now is that there's a green square with sides 10 & 9, which if I understand correctly I get a perimeter of 38, but if I'm supposed to convert all these numbers to letters, that doesn't make sense. That, and the name of the jpeg is s.jpg. So, I'm guessing they really meant it to be 19. Am I going in the right direction and that's possibly an error?

It varies, sorta, my 2-tile doesn't have any pips, and same for someone else. I have seen 4 different A, and this are the pips of those are:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

100 ~ 4 pips 1st square
1000 ~ 1 pip 1st square
101 ~ 1 pip 2nd square

11 ~ 4 pips 1st square
1100 ~ 1 pip 2nd square
10 ~ 1 pip 1st square
1011 ~ 5 pips 1st square

1000 ~ 1 pip 1st square
100 ~ 4 pips 1st square
1110 ~ 1 pip 3rd square

101 ~ 5 pips 1st square
10 ~ 1 pip 1st square
1100 ~ 1 pip 2nd square
1101 ~ 1 pip 4th square

When you compare all of them you'll get:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Seen two times:
100 ~ 4 pips 1st square
1000 ~ 1 pip 1st square
10 ~ 1 pip 1st square
1100 ~ 1 pip 2nd square

Seen one time:
101 ~ 1 pip 2nd square
101 ~ 5 pips 1st square

11 ~ 4 pips 1st square
1011 ~ 5 pips 1st square
1110 ~ 1 pip 3rd square
1101 ~ 1 pip 4th square

So it's possible you are right that each tile has a certain amount of pips, but we are given only a few. However Figuring out the pips for each tile seems very difficult to me. Don't even know how to start. Shocked

However I am certainly willing to give it an try, so far all my ideas didn't work out, and I had many. My last idea was:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In example..
101 ~ 5 pips 1st square
101 = 5 (decimal)
5 = Five, first letter of five = F
F+5 = 6+5 = 11 = K

I am starting to wonder if we ever going to solve this. Sad
