If you mark the letters in 'object day' off, they make an arrow or something. Points at 'F' for what it's worth. The shape of the arrow is a 7. The letters inside the marked off area are 'GHIMNS'.
DAMMIT! Beat me to it.

Gives us another puzzle piece. Anyone had any luck putting the ones we have into some meaningful order?

Paintings on gallery Three out of four identified
1:
2: "The Persistence of Memory" by Salvador Dali
3: "The Triumph of Death" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder
4: "Bonaparte Visiting the Palgue-Victims of Jaffa" by Antoine-Jean Gros

Nice going folks! Ok, so we have another puzzle piece, but we already know where the text from the puzzle comes from and the source of it's background image, so what can we still glean from these jigsaw pieces? There must be something there we've overlooked.

OK, here are the pieces so far assembled. We've already identified the Bible passage, so hopefully there is something more interesting on the remaining four or the assembled whole.

Gallery I know it has been solved, but just for completness.
The missing first painting is "The betrayal of christ" from Giuseppe Caesari (http://www.fineart-china.com/germany/htmlopus/painting-43837.html)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So we have:
dood = ? = ""The Triumph of Death" = 3
peste = plague = ""Bonaparte Visiting the Palgue-Victims of Jaffa" = 4
tradimento = betrayal = " The Betrayal of Christ" = 1
memoria = memory = "The Persistance of Memory" = 2
= 3412
I do not like brute-force guessing

It looks like there's some sort of watermark on the pieces. I'm terrible at image manipulation, but... any thoughts?

Figured out where this is going. The completed puzzle and the "Connect the Dots" image are the same size. Overlay the Dots on the puzzle, rotate Dots 180 degrees and get the attached. Dots highlight letters from the passage.

The background has already been identified. I do not want to look up the post, but you can find it here: http://tso.wikidot.com/e-y-e-s-puzzle (still to be updated!)

Sorry for doublepost, but finally the last part of the Gallery puzzle revealed:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The words had to be translated by the language of the painter:
dood = (Pieter Bruegel the Elder)Netherlands = Death = ""The Triumph of Death" = 3
peste = (Antoine-Jean Gros) French = plague = ""Bonaparte Visiting the Palgue-Victims of Jaffa" = 4
tradimento =(Giuseppe Caesari) Italian = betrayal = " The Betrayal of Christ" = 1
memoria = (Dali) Spain = memory = "The Persistance of Memory" = 2
= 3412

I think I can extrapolate a bit more, but might be a bit off near the end:

Yeah, after dood was translated I figured as much. For the other three, well italian worked for all of them, but the painter language explanation makes more sense to me.
So, AUZ.. how the heck did you figure out each painting so quickly?
