You know, I've been thinking it would be way more hilarious to have the broken CDF as a keepsake. The scars and little duct tape band-aids would really add character to an already awesome souvenir. Sure it'll destroy Milwaukee, but imagine telling the grandkids how you got it and why it's missing bits!
