I guess you could say that Tenacious D is in the box, thus answering the riddle, but I hope there is more to it then that.

Anyone try beazlebub (or whatever the name of that song is) as the password?

It might be that there isn't anything to this at all. But the magazines still make me wonder. Odd that he would entice us on.

To many unanswered questions if that was true. Well here is a repost of what we can do:

Where to go from here:
- Decipher the 4-digit strings of text from the website, if there's any meaning to them. This is doubtful, considering they are from "bullshitArray".
- Figure out the significance of the other math formulas on the anti.jpg image, if there is any.
- Figure out the meaning behind 71-73.5% and 87% and ATTAINABLLNESS, if there is anything beyond what I've stated above.
- Is there any significance to the phone number 59462?
- Do Discovery Channel, Terminator, or Tenacious D have any meaning? What about Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG, Acer, and Philips? What about Half Life, Lost, and Jurassic Park?
- Can we find any more information about Tim Smit or Steven Roeters by googling around?
- Email Tim Smit? He did give us his address after all in the Storm Chasers video.

Going back to the percents do you think the percents represent how complete something is? Someone else thought it might of been a phone number, but I doubt that.

btw he didn't spell attainableness wrong just so you know.

I have no idea what to do from here. If we had a username we could try passwords, the ftp is a good idea from the medium ancestry riddle.

the cube image (with cube equations) are a mystery. The magazine pic is a mystery. Tenacious D is a mystery, and so is the article on dyed solarcells (plus %'s), along with the ???'s on the bottum.

Man. I haven't been here since Halo's ARG, Iris.

Back on topic, is the FTP server even related? Sure the same people own it, but unless something official points to it, I don't think we should concentrate our efforts into it. Sure it may have been found, but under what circumstances?

The only thing is people thought that riddle relates to it but I kinda doubt it. So either a figure out riddle or maybe what does precents stand for? Or find a new clue on the website? But I doubt there is anymore to find at this point.

Also someone mentioned Circle in the posts before... remember that in the film the black box has a circle in it....
And "What's in the box" is a piece from The Twilight Zone. If you remember it was a piece where the future and past change places... It MIGHT be also related.

Interesting to read about your efforts to deciphering and solving the riddle Smile

Just some random thoughts for you:
What's in the box? -> HL connections -> The Orange Box?

And perhaps the singularity in the end (the announcer called it like that) was triggered by the use of the box in the beginning? So he unleashed some apocalypse by using the box -> Pandora's box.

Advanced tech, yeah, but I thouht that was just a fancy helicopter, not a spaceship.

Not just a fancy helicopter, almost exactly the attack helicopter from HL2. So, yeah, more HL2 stuff. That's probably not all that important, though.

K, I am officially out of this thread, because apparently no one here can post original information.

Ok, a post by Captain Carnage on http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/03/18/whats-in-the-box/ pointed something out:

In anti.jpg image, at least some of the text appears to come from this article, which I believe we know:
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v353/n6346/abs/353737a0.html

However, the two percents which are highlighted in red, 71-73.5% and 87% are NOT the original numbers. They have been changed from 7.1-7.9% and 12%.

There has got to be something to this. There are 7 numbers, perfect for a phone number, but what is the area code? Either the old numbers are the important ones (my guess) or the new numbers are. Perhaps the difference between is important (63.9-65.6 and 75)? Not sure, could be password stuff as well. Will someone plz just download barcode reading software to try and figure out the magazine clue?

Btw, I don't think anyone pointed out that on the middle magazine, the box has sizable gap/hole in it. Wonder what that is about...
