Sadly, I fear not only am I not feeling well enough to go, I'd probably make you all sick if I did. This is ridiculous and frustrating. Sad Sad

Anyway, I can make a reservation for seven people, just in case I suddenly feel great. I'll post/twitter the time in a few hours.

I called Giskard at the restaurant to say hi to everyone. The restaurant sounded noisy so I couldn't do much more than say hello and tell him how glad we are that he is visiting the states. Also, I realized that I was calling an international number and I had no idea how much it would cost him (or me) to have a conversation.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures and a recap of the get together.

I hope there will be live images from Ariock rock band tomorrow night. I'll try to pop in there to observe and say hi to all the lovelies.

Should we start planning where in SF we will meet? May I kindly request somewhere that has parking space? Smile

I just arrived in SF, after having a wonderful wonderful time in LA, for a large part due to the many friendly faces who showed me around, came all the way over to meet up and hang out. Thanks so much everyone, I had a blast!

Saturday, first I will be on the road with Ariock, hmrpita and Omnie, I will try and coordinate with them what the best place to meet up for the SF ARGMeet is, we'll take the parking issue into account. Will keep you posted on here!

Going off on adventures without the rest of us? Hmmm...

I just heard about "Kennedy's, ... an Indian restaurant inside an Irish pub" from someone else (in another puzzle community).
Kennedy's
Irish Pub & Curry House

http://www.kennedyscurry.com/
I have no idea if it would appeal to Giskard -- my friend was recommending the bar, but the whole restaurant mixture sounded wacky. However, it's probably terrible for parking cars in that area on a Saturday night.

Heh, so funny, because that was the very place we hung out at during ARGFest '07 a couple of times Smile The food there was pretty good! I don't really remember how the Irish pub-part of it was, except for thinking that for an Irish pub, it too looked pretty Indian Wink But yeah, I guess that parking around there could pose a challenge...

To where will you guys be going during the day? If I'm free, I could meet up with you early Smile

GiskTour SF!
Hope you are all watching the thread...

Hello all!

So the idea right now is to meet up at the Beach Chalet in SF. It's on the edge of Golden Gate Park, near the beach (surprise!). I'll need to know exactly how many people. If you want to attend, please PLEASE let me know ASAP.

Right now I've tentatively scheduled for a party of 10 at 6:30 pm. I think I've over-estimated, but I can trim it down later today if necessary.

Ariock already got my RSVP -- i tried to recruit Obtusitivity and Leftbrained, but I'm not sure if either will be able to join me.

p.s., we'll be overlapping with Earth Hour
http://www.earthhour.org/home/
"8:30PM local time, wherever you live on planet earth. Saturday 28 March 2009"
can we get them to turn off the lights for us?
