Thanks for the cleaned up version ustice. Going back to the loud bang that I thought was a gunshot, I later realized is probably thunder.

hej methos, how close was that ARG tied to Fitzeks book? did one need to read it to get clues, or was that completely optional? how long before/after the book launch was the ARG?

The ARG took place some months before the book came out (it was somehow the prologue to it).The most active players got a script of the book after the ARG and could read it before anybody else.

thanks! I now realized that there have been 2 ARGs for Sebastian Fitzeks book. Push11 (for the book "Das Kind", The Child) and Alzner Experiment (for "Seelenbrecher" / Spirit Breaker). Both took place in Germany and were made by the Company V-M-people: http://www.vm-people.de/de/vmprojects/. Seems like that company has done only German projects so I dont think the ongoing ARG" is done by them. But who knows..

ALL RECIPIENTS: review the sticker on the inside of the battery compartment. yay irc folk =)

Addlepated's barcode decodes to an ascii string:
GVALHEY

which is rot-13 for:
TINYURL

we need to decode the rest of the stickers.
I'll be checking mine as soon as I get home.

So, sticker info:

Addlepated = Device ID 273, Part No. 2 = GVALHEY = TINYURL
Spacebass = Device ID 018, Part No. 3 = ?????? = ??????

I saw a youtube video for the Alzner Experiment. The handwriting on a tag looked like the handwriting on our tapes. It's my opinion that we've got at least one member of the Alzner PM team.

Good job guys!

So exploring the Krotzler site reveals a specific page requesting assistance with his break-in. I'm assuming that we're going with the "tapes = missing patient data" idea, so has anyone sent him a message yet?

A few of us from IRC just jumped in and contacted him already. He's also on Facebook, so he might be a little surprised to have so many new friends. Wink

Edit - I'm kinda thinking Dana King's recorder is going to have repeat information in the battery case, like thebruce's did. Especially since his tape was a duplicate of Varin's.

Krotzler's address corresponds with a hotel: The Dana at Mission Bay. PinkCloud is going to check it out, maybe see if Krotzler (or Larenz) has any messages waiting for him. Good luck! Smile
