Nothing much, but all the branches' messages mention that the Clue is literally inside the diamond, whichever it is.

Are you saying that you think that even though they said that the answer is Philosopher's Stone in book three they're still going to change it at the last second, or have you just not read that book?

No but they wouldnt have it to were they already know what the answer is about a quarter of the way through the series

The Philosopher's Stone will probably still be the secret of the 39 clues. As I posted earlier, all the clues except rosemary can be found to have links to alchemy. Since alchemy is about turning base metals into gold, the stone is also an attractive power to have (also makes a good ending unlike unity of the four branches). Unless Scholastic can perform a mind wipe to all 39 clues readers and change all the clues, I doubt there will be a different ending to the 39 clues.

Alchemy concerns the Philosopher's Stone and the Elixir of Life. It is believed that the Elixir of Life is a by-product of the Philosopher's Stone. So, I still believe that the ultimate power will be both, the ability to transmutate and being immortal.

PS Sorry for the double post

Anybody else finding it interesting that bumbling Gordon Klose keeps finding the solution notes to puzzles? Sure he doesn't understand them, but he's found two important answer sheets now with nobody else shown as even finding one.

Diamond Clue

I don't think we're looking for the Dresden Green diamond. The clue is hidden in the missing piece of the French Blue when it was cut down to make the hope diamond. The French Blue was made from the Tavernier Blue.

If you check out the extra content of the Hope Diamond card it basically spells it out. Plus in the Ekat files there is a letter from Dimitri Makarov who is the person that cut the stone.

I just ordered the puzzle from amazon I will have it in a couple of days. I also looked for the other games but everywhere says that they are out of stock. I think maybe they haven't been released yet.
