Mysterious Twittter person

I was recently followed by someone on Twitter. Their only other friend is a fellow ARGer. I looked up LOAC online it stands for Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC). No website as of yet but I think it may be coming.

http://twitter.com/LOACLOAD

Tweet feed if you wanted to check it out.

Only tweet reads:

Quote:
survivalism is necessary

It was posted at 9:54EDT.

Also their location is in New Hampshire, Massechusetts.
Name: J.S.

The image is of their icon.

Got this e-mail. Not sure what to make of it.

If this is out there already, I apologize. But here it goes:

From: salamiSPLATwaimana.co.nz
Subject: Your Account Was Banned

Body:
This is a joke Smile

His manner unbalanced. 'it is beyond anything,' plate. He
sorted through them with nimble fingers. It all for? She
asked dreamily, her eyes gazing said mrs. Scott. They both
boldly penetrated into this hurried adjuration, he cocked
his blunderbuss,.

Not sure what to make of it. I went to www.waimana.co.nz to see what was up, and it's a site for Waimana apartments.

Yep, definitely spam. Some of those emails can mess up your computer just by opening them, I'd do a scan just to be on the safe side!

Actually, tonight would be a good time for everyone to run those scans.
All the big bug squashers are expecting a busy day tomorrow, in honor of April Fools Day. The odd thing is, that they aren't saying (or don't know) exactly what form these expected threats will be taking.

I've received several emails lately, from hijacked machines that got past the spam filters, trying to serve me an unhealthy dose of zombification.

If the email is from an otherwise "normal" company and isn't overtly selling something, there's likely an <iframe>, script or outright link trying to get your box added to a bot net.

So, being that it's April Fool's Day...I don't quite know what to think of this.

Today I received a very odd message on my answering machine. It's very difficult to decipher what the message says due to the fact it's a computerized voice, and the words overlap each other. What i can make out right away is a long string of numbers followed by "it's all happening at once" and something along the lines of "we have to coordinate". I am thinking that it is:

A. random telemarketing message that just happens to be creepy.
B. a game I maybe signed up for with my phone # and then never played or maybe a new game starting that I forgot about.
C. one of my friends who knows that I play args has left it to f**k with me, and is sitting at home laughing.

Did anyone get anything similar? Or maybe could point me to the game where it belongs?

I got followed on twitter by http://twitter.com/theCoalitionTV
Which leads me to http://www.thecoalitiontv.com/thecoalition/index.php

which has a UNICEF logo in the top-right corner, but a lot of 'weirder' things going on ...

Searched the Forums here but got no hit..

Anyone?
Thanks in advance
