This is an intentional xpost on two threads: TSO and Pharmament. I'm doing this because at some point we were wondering if the sites found for the two games belong together.

Right now I'm leaning towards a negative answer.
Having been through all the info collected so far on both games, I can confirm that the only things that seem to tie the two games are:
.

I think that the more Pharmament is played the more it looks like a separate game by the same people as TSO.

Even though I was sure both games were not related, it seems we were all wrong:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

New site from TSO game:
http://www.eyeamhere.com/tnh/theresnothinghere.asp?title=divinacommedia

I can clearly see the Pharmament marker

So now I am changing my lurking status into the playing status for Pharmament Wink

Nevertheless it could be just some cross game joke in TSO.

the blog that we discovered by playing through the pharmament clues is a fairly conclusive sign that these two are in fact one. the hacker, dan o'kean, had been in talks with d.j. about pharmament...and d.j. has infiltrated the enemy...

trying to read up on TSO now in time to get in before April 1st

Yeah, see.. I left work.. Dave posted on twitter... by the time I logged in at home, TSO and also got an email leading to a new puzzle which, once resolved, seems to indicate TSO and Pharmament are indeed the same game.

The PMs must have been laughing *a lot* lately about this.
We'll probably have to figure out what to do with the 2 wikis.
For now, I'll be catching up on both sides lol..
..damn, I need to update my signature at some point

posts have been going crazy since about 5 minutes after you left work olorin Smile

maybe my reading and getting (minorly) involved with TSO earlier wasn't such a coincidence as the puzzles in both threads have had this literary bent to them. as it is, i am hoping to catch up with TSO and jump in to that properly now that these two parts appear to have merged.

see you on the other side Smile

One quick note: the entries from Dan and DJ dated Jan 3rd match the access log for Pharmament.com we have found before (http://www.pharmament.info/pharmamentlog.txt).

Definitely going to play catch up on TSO, but will continue to keep an eye out here just in case there is any solely-Pharmament gaming going on.

The only thing that bugs me about this is the fact that there doesn't seem to be another puzzle or point of contact on there...nothing really jumps out that says 'solve me', so I can only wonder if we're supposed to jump on the TSO bandwagon, or if we're supposed to wait for another communication. At this point I've posted the irc info, and I'm going to sit back in the tall grass for now.
