Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) - that quote directly relates to my sig - lol. I'll be sending the info to Wolfpack - for a slew of different reasons.

Twisted Evil That's funny! Moral values? Who? What? Where?...
Anyway, do you mind sharing your reasons w/ the peanut gallery? For me, I'm not sure that I can trust "Big Brother"...

I received a reply email from WOLFPACK last night, asking for more information concerning the location of Houston. (yes I emailed them Twisted Evil )
I wasn't sure exactly what they were looking for so I took a few tidbits from wikipedia, and I'm guessing the relevant part was that this town was started by ARMACO back in the 40's - an oil company.

I replied back with that info, with a request that if they needed more info, that more specific questions regarding that info would be helpful.

yeah I got a similar message, apparently Nathaniel has moved according to his twitter. He was talking about being in Tehran which is around 70km north of Abqaiq, but now it seems he has moved to his " final location " which is not being hinted on. Both of those places are Saudi Armaco run compounds.

Crap! I hope I didn't screw that up. I hadn't checked Twitter when I sent the email. I could make up excuses, but it won't change it. So Abqaiq isn't the final destination then..?

@wulf & dirtdiver - what reply from Wolfpack? Are you talking about the Mission 3 email or something else? I didn't get another message from them yet, however I haven't sent info to Wolfpack or CCCP yet either (have yet to decide...). Someone please reply before the deadline 2nite - now I'm a lil confused.
Hmmm, or maybe I didn't get an email because "Big Brother" doesn't like my previous posts...

On a side note - I just knew Iran would show up on N.H.'s twitter (Nigeria did too). To my knowledge, Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia is his final location. I believe all the locations listed in his tweets are there just to throw us off. That's what I'll be going w/ atleast...

I submitted the email with his location yesterday. I received a reply back, asking for more information about the location.

Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to add this - Nathaniel did work for Saudi Aramco... maybe Wolfpack's client?

=EDIT=
Sent my email with the location to CCCP. Hope I get a reply... Confused

=EDIT 2=
Received a reply from CCCP asking for more info. I wonder who will find Nathaniel first?

Just got this email, looks like wolfpack picked him up.

Quote:
FROM: WOLFPACK PMC
CC: GRANT RIPLEY, PRESIDENT, WOLFPACK PMC
ATTENTION: TIP RECRUTIS, OSIG PARTICIPANTS
RE: OPERATION PEAK OIL

Congratulations on the completion of the final recruting mission mission. The good news is that we are happy to report success. Not of all you submitted each and every correct answer, but each of you are showed us...something. While we can only award one "prize", many of you performed well enough in the Talent Identification Program has merited you serious consideration for a Wolfpack position. However, due to internal security matters, we are instituting a hiring freeze until we can conduct a security review aimed at detecting disloyal employees.

Regardless of your success or level of participation - we will be keeping an eye on ALL of you.

As for the final mission itself – self-proclaimed "Peak Oil" expert Nathanial Houston was located at the Saudi ARAMCO facility at Al Abquaiq, Saudi Arabia. Thanks to the work of a small number of recruits, the photo we provided was revealed to have been encoded with geo-location coordinates.

We believe Houston may have been trying to add an explosive chemical compound known as Methyl Nitrate to the world's largest oil facility. We believe this was done by using his former contacts at ARAMCO, possibly at the behest of contacts Iran, where he studied.

Upon receipt of your information, Wolfpack security forces moved to intercept. While we believe we successfully prevented his attack, due to a conflict with the Saudi government we were unable to apprehend him. He was, however, asked to leave the country, and was accompanied by members of the organization known as the CCCP.

The Wolfpack believes this ultimately is a positive development. We are now not only tracking Mr. Houston, but CCCP as well. By the time you receive this e-mail we should have intercepted Nathaniel and his accomplices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are confident that our excellent relationship with American law enforcement will thwart Mr. Houston's attempts at evading justice.

We thank you for the service, and now consider you a part of the extended Wolfpack Family. We look forward to contacting you in the future after our internal security purge is complete.

Always remember – THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS THE PACK!

For some weird reason I forgot to send my answer in before Friday morning, but they still sent me the congratulatory e-mail.

In any case, the e-mail kind of hints at another mission, don't you think?

In response to dbed's question:

There's only one more mission and you only have to complete two to qualify for the prize, so they could send us a nigh-impossible task and most of us would still be in the drawing.

I guess that recieving the endgame email even though you didn't send the answer for mission 3 would be a good sign that the previous mission answers you sent were correct, automatically qualifying you for the "prize". Very Happy

Pure spec on my part - but to my knowledge, this arg correlates to just the first installment for the Unthinkable collection - so maybe this will continue at a later date? or that could just be my hope that it will, not sure... Laughing

Congrats Justin Lundgren!!! Whoever you are on winning the prize.

I may not have won, but hey. They used my picture in the "press release" so I'm not going to complain.

Thank you! Was quite a surprise today when I heard from Boom-Studios. They sent me an email last night, letting me know, and a few phone calls today.
I'm pretty stoked - can't wait to see the hard-cover edition. Big thanks again to Boom, if you guys are still watching this!
