Yeah I'm pretty sure you can now since the game is over.

Yep, if the game's over, reply away! Congrats to Wulf74 for winning and to BOOM! for running a successful game. Very Happy

Great. We... can... speak!

First of all, thanks to all of you that played the game. BOOM! and author Mark Sable really worked hard to bring you something fairly cool without the backing of a hug multinational conglomerates budget. We hope it worked for you all.

Secondly, would love to get feedback on ways we could do this better next time.

Thirdly, to Dirt Diver, we didn't use your picture, but set up our Mac to basically take the same one. Razz

Thanks again for everyone who played. And if you liked the game, make sure you give your local comic shop a call and get them to order the first issue. Orders are due right now! You can find your nearest comic shop by calling 1-888-COMIC-BOOK.

Thanks,

BOOM!

Lol, aw Sad.

But I thought it was great, it had a very good story and took a little digging. I am still kicking myself for not thinking of metadeta faster than I did. But it was really fun to do, and I can't wait for the next one from you guys.

BTW - sorry I didn't do it earlier, but I gotta give credit, where credit is due.

@dirt diver - if it wasn't for you figuring out that last part - I never would've seen it. And I find myself, for the first time, envying a Mac user - lol! The preview program for your pictures is awesome due to the fact that it just shows all of that extra data right off the bat. I was able to duplicate it on the PC, but there were a few more steps involved, and if I hadn't of known what I was looking for.. well.

But if it wasn't for the "Group Mind" - I imagine very few of these ARG's would ever be figured out. Razz

Here is the article that lead to us coming up with the last mission with the geolocation. Thought you all might think this is interesting.

Wow. That's almost kinda creepy - especially with how easily he found that woman.

I use a beta app by Google called Latitude on my blackberry - but only people I give the ok to, can see my location. If I even turn the app on. Still - there's apps out there that allow you to turn on cameras/phones remotely to allow you to see what the phone sees, and hear any conversations - all without the person knowing you're doing it.
Big Brother nothin. The entire world is keeping an eye on you.. Shocked

Actually, almost any native application on the iphone saves your location. If you send somebody and email from your iphone they can get your location from it.
