 		Peter Lerangis is in San Francisco.
He talked to a renowned diamond expert, who had a "Telegram picked up at a diamond auction."
It had a Cahill Ensignia on the envelope, and
"written by M in London, sent to V in Moscow"

 		Just to have their pictures all together in one place.
Remember that the Tavernier Blue was cut down to make the Hope Diamond.
Also remember, these pictures are just replicas of the originals. I'm sure each diamond is currently in a Cahill safe somewhere, not open to the public.

Don't believe the Ekats, my fellow Lucians. Hmm, let me see...Oh, didn't the Branch Leaders tell the Ekats to "accidentally" let slip while Lucians were within hearing range that the diamond was in India? Oh, and why did some lil' Ekat meow to a certain Janus named Jonah Wizard that the Clue was in New York? Subduing the Tomas was the easiest, wasn't it? Didn't you just babble some things like"cubic zirconia" and "Jonah Wizard" to fool them all? Of course, dear Eisenhower Holt failed. You better bring Irina back from India; the Clue isn't even a mile from where she is. It's in the Ekats' science lab.

Oh, and the diamond may be the Hope Diamond. Haven't you noticed a pattern, wherein every code in the book is somehow related to the Missions? It is only prudent to assume that the diamond is no other than the Hope.

Yeahhhh... O f course we would do that. Our brains, instead of thinking of something as pathetic as that, would go twords finding a brain wipe machine to make you actually belive with your entire being that this place or that person had the diamond. Not just tellng you.
