If you're talking about the ads below the video on http://www.somethingiscoming.net/ They seem (for now) to be randomly generated from Google AdSense. Page source includes a script element with

Well, it seems to give me the same ad. But even if it is randomly generated, isn't a bit wierd that before the deadline there is no ad, yet as soon as we reach the deadline there is an ad mixed in? Just putting out thoughts though.

One thing really caught my eye on this site. There are a few particularly familiar phrases:

"...Call me crazy, but it feels like something is coming..." - this of course refers to the main phrase related to the ARG.
"...As usual my brother can be mouthy, so viewer discretion is advised..." - not as big, but the exact same terminology is used of the Something is Coming main page (viewer discretion is advised). Also, the viewer discretion is advised part of the quote on the new site is in italics, as such to highlight them.
"What we once watched in movies - The final battle to save the human race - may actually be imminent." - I think the phrase 'the final battle to save the human race' seems to tie in with the second half of the video, and particularly the concept of good and evil working together (perhaps to actually save humankind).

Either way, I'm gonna listen to the transmissions, and I'll let you know what I think.

Hmm Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Anyone in the area ?

I'm probably the closest, I'm in Buffalo, NY, but that is still quite the haul from here.

I am about an hour out. It all depends on when we would have to be scouting out the area as to whether or not I can help.

But I'm starting to read things now ...

Sorry for the double post - but if this is the location in question I am about a half an hour away from here. About time there is some activity in my semi-backyard

Okay as I posted above, I had a look at the transmissions on the site http://yourlightinthedark.org and they are very interesting. For those interested, there is a manuscript that I wrote up here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?wywunonkyzt
Its about 1 and a half pages in Word.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's about a town called Harper's Ford which has been surrounded by a barrier of unknown origins. There are strange occurences related throughout the transmissions. From the rest of the site it seems the rest of America is being affected as well, with riots occuring and all flights out of America grounded. All in all, mysterious.

Finally there is an email address on the site asking for ideas concerning the situation. I have sent an email off and will let you know if I get a reply.
I am new to ARGs so could someone more experienced have a look at this and tell me what they think? Hoepfully it is relevant.

i'm not sure if this has anything to do with your clue, but ARGN.com has a link to another story called
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
harper's island
. Unless the two storys are interconnected, the clue with the cipher can lead us down a bunch of false positives...

Well I had a look at the Harper's Island Unfiction thread and it seems to be on a completely different direction to that found on the transmissions. Where the Harper's Island seems to be focused on a murder mystery (styled to be like 'And Then There Were None' by Agatha Christie) the Harper's Ford transmissions seem to fit much more into the clues we already have.

To me, the biggest clue that http://www.yourlightinthedark.org/ might be related is the dates of the posts found on it: March 21, March 27, April 2 are all fairly recent.

For those that tried the email contacts liste don the site... have you used hte subject lines that the links on the page provide?

I'll be reading and trying next as work permits.

~~~
May I point out that TSO/Pharmament also has a brother (Dave) dedicating a site to the memory of his brother Dan ?
Core, thanks for writing it down; I'm including your transcript below so that everyone can read it withouth having to download - I don't think it needs a spoiler tag either since it's easily available, right ? (if I'm worng on that account let me know and I'll fix)
"Okay, here goes nothing. This is Dave Dolan, manager and owner of WKHF 104.9 radio in Harper's Ford. According to our clocks it is 10 PM Pacific Standard Time on Thursday. Eddie <last> tells me this altered and strengthened signal has some chance at punching through the barrier that surrounds Harper's Ford. He's up on the tower roof, outside the station, trying to make this happen. We have to do it at night to avoid the home guard. But the trees are active at night. I imagine the guard was surprised not to find us at the lighthouse. We all have to take risks, and we can only hope this works. As near as we can tell, we're trapped in an area approximately 100 square miles in size. Nothing we've tried penetrates the barrier. Even home guards' weapons and explosives have had no effect. The sky seems all wrong here, and I'm told the constellations make no sense. Lives have been lost, many died in the confusion and chaos of the first days. Some died from Stettler and his insanity, and some are lost to the creatures in here with us. We found a few potential allies from the place they call haven. Umm, they claim to have been isolated long before we were here and they're almost as strange as our present situation. It is important that somewhere out there knows that we are not gone. We are not dead. I hope that Eddie is right and that you'll find some way to free us. Please, help us. We will continue to broadcast on this frequency every Thursday night, at 10 PM, as long as we can. This is the voice of Harper's Ford, signing off. "
"This is the voice of Harper's Ford, WKHF 104.9. Dave Dolan on the air. We're still here. Tonight we talk about the monsters. It's almost funny that even with the barrier and the things inside here with us; we brought our own worst nightmare with us. If the home guard ever catches on to what Eddie and I are trying to do here, I have no doubt that we will be taken out and executed in a heartbeat. They did it to the Police Chief and others. They'll do it again, probably to keep their power. I guess you really don't know people until a catastrophe brings the real them out. We all thought we knew Jack Stettler (spelling?) pretty well. He owned the sporting goods store <unintelligible> that even I have lived here. And when he started the <unintelligible> club, it all seemed good. They helped police <unintelligible> control for events, and they helped search when little Sarah Hadley (again spelling?) was lost in the woods. The town got used to having the club there as a resource for times of emergency <static>. Jack was a take-charge kinda guy and we all came to depend on the club in those situations.
At first the club really was a godsend. It turned out Jack had a lot more gear hidden away than any of us could have imagined. Serious military shit like you wouldn't believe. When the creepies and crawlies attacked, the police weren't ready to handle that. The club jumped in with its' automatic weapons, grenades, flamethrowers. Hell, they even came up with a half track. They rescued folks from the outlying areas and brought them into town. It helped us fortify the downtown area and they even tried to punch a hole through the barrier. None of us worried that they did their own thing, none of us worried when they started wearing military fatigues or when Jack started calling himself Colonel. Then the haveners contacted us. I could do hours on those first contacts and the folks from haven. After a first few confused encounters, they came and bailed us out when lizzies broke though our perimeter. By then Jack and the club had changed their name to the home guard. Anyway, the guard got caught flat footed, and the haveners came to the rescue.
I guess Jack and the boys didn't like that much. The haveners came soon after offering a trade and mutual assistance agreement. We had a full blown town meeting. The mayor spoke out in favour of the deal. Jack Stettler asked to speak. He calmly walked up, and put a bullet right through Mayor Lance's eyes. When chief Higgins tried to do something about it, he had Higgins and the haveners taken out to the square and shot by a firing squad. Then the bastard told us he was declaring martial law. No one in Harper's Ford fucks with the home guard. No one openly deals with haveners. No one disagrees with the fucking Colonel, or they're shot or just disappear. Jack is the worst kind of monster in here. We hope you folks out there will find a way to break through the barrier. Then you can send the goddamn US army in here, to round up Jack and his boys. We got plenty of rope and plenty of strong tree branches. We will continue to broadcast on this frequency on every Thursday night, at 10 PM, as long as we can. This is the voice of Harper's Ford, signing off."
"This is the voice of Harper's Ford WKHF 104.9. Dave Dolan on the air. We're still here. It shimmers almost like pearl. It seems translucent. You can touch it; your hands slide over it as if it's immune to friction. Bullets, drills, explosives, torches, trucks, cars, acids, caustic chemicals, carbide steel, diamonds and people bounce or slide off it. You can't fly over it. Charlie Lang tried it with his hot air balloon and fell to his death. You can't tunnel under it – the road department guys tried that. That's when we found out angry plants aren't just <unintelligible>. It seems to let sunlight through, and I'm not even sure if it's our sun. It is still possible to get a tan here. We can't be sure whether it lets air in or weather in or that's all self-contained with us. Eddie is the closest thing to a scientist I know, and he says it isn't made of matter, he says it's made of some kind of energy. We checked out the exact centre of the area in the woods. There's nothing special there. Mrs McDunner, the science teacher from the high school was measuring it from day one. She says its expanding outwards from that centre. About a hundredth of an inch the first year and about a half an inch a day now. Granny Tribal, who we always thought was a witch, claims it hums to her. And yeah, we eventually tried all of her suggestions just short of human sacrifice. Zip. Zada. Zilch. Jack shit. Merry fucking Christmas. I'm talking of course about the barrier. The 800 pound gorilla around town. The big <unintelligible>. It caused the first casualty on the first day. Jack Shotwell took off across the bridge in his truck like a bat out of he like he always did. I heard the sirens. Eddie was getting some breakfast at the diner. He said the lights went out about a minute before they heard the crash. Young Jack died on impact. Never hit the bricks.
We've had long power outages before, so almost everyone was busy putting up their generators. Then we started hearing stories. Lizards as big as horses. Plants that feed on animals and humans. Some things straight out of horror stories. And things that really don't have words or concepts to describe them. We lost a lot of good people because nothing could prepare us for this. Some of us think its little green men from space; some think its terrorists or Russians. Some think God has an axe to grind in Harper's Ford. I don't really much care. We've tried everything we can do with the resources we have. We're counting on you. The good old U.S. of A. We will continue to broadcast on this frequency on every Thursday night, at 10 PM, as long as we can. This is the voice of Harper's Ford, signing off."
I emailed the address using the heading Barrier Information (just expanding Info to Information). Hopefully that doesn't affect anything, I hadn't thought of that.
Palm, also I'm more than happy to help with the Wiki. Just tell me how to get started and I'll do what i can Smile.
Just looking further on this page, just noticed the name Dave Dolan is mentioned. So our radio correspondent exists?
