Is the image a metaphor for 'us on the outside' the center, the website/mystery?

 		funny you mention that useless knowledge here but there is a game or mod out for steam based on the half life thing where someone was taken to a prison of sorts. The story is supposed to cross gordons but it could be just the butterfly effect.

Cluthing at straws here but if you look at this page form the Minerva site:

Similar? Is the Babel research lab in City 44 as mentioned on the Minreva site.

Dont know any of this for sure as not played the Minerva mod. Also an entry as to the Designer of Minerva posted on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MINERVA_(mod)

 		How I found it: at the bottom left of the Babel homepage, you will periodically see a broken-image placeholder (that's what I saw anyway). Click it and you will get that MP3.

 		After catching it and looking at the link for discedoMalum, I found that it's supposed to be the Schrodinger's Cat pic, but the reference is broken (no filetype indicated).
