i've been skimming over it, nothing important; we nabbed the majority of it for now... i'll post other stuff once i find out where they get some of their things from. it's also not cheating; it's called being resourceful with the knowledge one has obtained Very Happy

why it can't possibly be real
Hello... I have been reading this forum for weeks, and there have been several interesting -yet true- developments to this conundrum. The hl2 image is fake... proof of this:

I opened up my Source sdk and looked at al the Hl2 ep2 decals. (These are what the graffiti/gunshot/blood splatter textures are called) I found the one directly adjacent to the so called "box graffiti" and analyzed it. No box or words beneath. I looked through all of the other bits, too, and none of them had anything to do with the "Box".

The only explanations for the above image are A: The person created a texture to replace an existing one which had the box on it, which would then appear in game. B: (far more likely) The person took out their image-editing software and whipped this up in an attempt to stir people up.

Besides, the only reason (i think) that all of the lost, jurassic park, and half life references were made because the person who made the video in the first place used music and sound effects from them. I am positive there is no relation between Lost, Half Life, or Jurassic Park to this ARG.

Of course, I may be proven wrong in the near future...

 		Just a couple things... got to messing w/ the levels on anti.jpg, and came across two things... one being a substantial amount of text in the background... two being a shape, similar to a tombstone. This is the limit of the PS skills right now, so hopefully it's something.

this is a VERY interesting find... good job!

EDIT: although the above/quoted post IS interesting, i can't make anything legible at 2 in the morning... i'll take a better look at this after my first exam. i'll be sure to drop by while studying physics, probably print out the image, it's horiz flip, its vert flip, and then both flip.
also, i can't seem to reach anything else from the SWF. i thought i was on to something, but i got stuck in a loop Laughing i think we've eaten as much as we can from the zero.swf... i did, however, find the link for the news bit...

I hear ya there... been digging through everything I can find (including scraping the entire site and digging through all the java and css files) and manipulating everything 7 ways from sunday...

There is text back there, and it's either mirrored or backwards, not sure. I can't apply enough image enhancement with the tools I have to make it visible/legible enough to read.

I was also digging into the army_evac image, and I don't want to get into it now, but there appears to be a lot more in that background than "SAGA."

This translation was done with google translate, so either im wrong or it could be yet another one of these super contrived clues? Razz
