How should I complete the wall?

Well, I've learned the quote function can be useful today! Haven't got much further with this yet so probably no need to spoiler but...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Obviously the spacing is important - counting the spaces I get rows of 0,0,20,9,14,25,0,3,17,1,2,5,7,0.

I thought simple substitution was required when the first group of 4 non-zero numbers gave "TINY" but the second chunk then reads "CQABEG" which doesn't seem right!

I assume there's good reason behind the wiki link and texas instrument "image" but I've yet to link those and the spaces to an incomplete wall.

I'm a man of simple thoughts (as demonstrated by previous posts!) so I don't think there are any great insights in the above but sometimes it helps me to lay my thought processes out!

Ah, but you could be going places, like Bob.

The wiki is to get you in the mood of this, no need to read it. Just a hint to get you to contemplate the milky void which you already found was not as stark as it seems. It's also a sort of theme or title for the puzzle, with all the philosophy and all that.

As for means of travel, a few pages back some Jr. Dr. used this same sort of tiny hook. Once you get to where Bob is playing, I've given you two thoughtful quotes to guide you. One of them is harder to find as it's hanging on another hidden hook. The other one is in plain sight.

GreenWindmill came up with the right string

It's a tinyurl (remember the lowercase)

Wish I had time at work to do the work on it without getting busted.

You're quite close. I think you're only missing one piece.

Disregard my last post. Bob's way ahead of me. Wink

I think those are case insensitive.

Aww... why? Very Happy

Dang, that was quick... too easy?

Did you get both quotes? And if so, did they help?

"quick" would be you, daniel,
If people start referring to you as "grumpy" or "grumpy Jr.", know that it's meant as a term of endearment.

RE: "both quotes"...
Mebbe not. I thought there was another level based on the hints, but can't see any way to abuse the file naming conventions of the flickr site or find anything else "hidden" in the image.

Well, these two puzzles had stalled my game for weeks. Makes me wonder how much of the successes here I can really extrapolate to the real world.

Or maybe it's just my game has such a small player base.

Mebbe not.

The first is the only thing in plain sight.
The other one is hanging on to that blank pix.gif

Both are intended as guidance on the second part, which is the real original puzzle (the first part I just came up with here after the incident with the spaces between your letters.

I think maybe the word I picked for the solve was too direct, too "present" all along.

That's the really awesome thing about ARGs. There's such a mix of people interested in different aspects of a game.
If there's enough passion around even a "small" game, the players will recruit whatever resources they need from the bigger populace.
And there are some around here who will gnaw on a bone as long as it takes to get to the marrow.

You got one, Bob? I'm sure Rogi wouldn't mind conceding his turn.

BTW, before when I was talking about "my game" I just meant it as the game I play/collaborate in, and not that I've created those worlds (other than helping with a few of the puzzles). The creators/writers/producers of those worlds are amazingly talented people who give it their all and their best for the entertainment of a handful of us players/collaborators. I would never try to take credit for their work. Just wanted to clarify that.
