Do you mean http://www.lurewallet.com/ ? I think that doesn't have anything to do with this, considering they "broke the fourth wall" if they were


Upon further research, I'd say that babel-research.com is almost 100% NOT associated with this. It redirects to lurewallet.com, which was registered by a guy from Harvard in 2002 named Christopher Thorpe. He also owns thorpe-corp.com which was registered back in 1999, so I highly doubt any that is connected.


so why does it link to anti.gif?

 		Probably pointless and irrelevant, but on the babel-research.com site, the email address uses a .png for "@" instead using the normal charachter. Is this odd or just standered practice?

It stops email hunting bots grabbing the email address and spamming them.

 		Anybody gotten a weird IM from "bythebarker" on AIM asking you to decrypt a file for them?

I did that and I got this combination of characters to appear on the screen
I used a mirror on it, remembering "mirrors and light" (I had been mirroring everything)
I didn't save a pic, because I was physically using a mirror instead of Photoshooping the picture, but I checked wikibruce the other day and they had this:
