That makes me wonder... How long was whatsinthebox.nl just sitting there? I mean if they had hints of it way back in 2007, was that domain still registered and just sitting there with that content, undiscovered until they released the demo video?

Then why do they host the anti.gif on their website? why do they have horrible grammar? why does the website seem so redundant?

I know I've asked these questions before but something seriously bugs me about that site!

Because someone probably linked them to it while questioning about the game, and hotlinking is unkind. Because some people just have bad grammar. Because sometimes it just is.

I think the only reason there hosting a copy of the image is to say if your looking for this you've come to the wrong place. Besides didn't someone post earlier that the site was made in 2002 by some guy from harvard.

the game site is .eu
the real life company is .com

Do not bother the .com people. You run the risk of trouble in real life.

Doesn't this strike anyone as odd?

Also, the .com's TM date is 2007, and if I can find it, I think the original whatsinthebox.nl .SWF had a 2007 on it. SOMEthing had 2007 on it.

WRITE IT OFF. Clearly these guys are sick of it. They removed all references to the game from their site. It now simply says

Babel Research LLC

They even removed the "@" from the email link, replacing it with an image. Clearly they're being bothered, so please just let them alone. Just let it go, move on... it's not related AT ALL. END OF STORY.

I'm going to say that they're still related somehow. They DID post the original anti picture, so they do still have something to take part with. They have a domain of "CATBOX.etcetc..."
If they truly aren't a part of it, why do they keep doing this? I'm thinking that the .com will look like a n00b company site some time soon, but it will become the Babel we know some time in the future. If not, this is just one messed up company to look this underground.
There also is the possibility that the author will want to drag this out over the next nine-ish years. if this is true, then i will love Tim forever.

EDIT: to guy i quoted, the removal of the at symbol is to prevent spam flood.
