My brain is totally shot, so I'm going to have to look at the name game come the morn, if someone else doesn't figure it out first. But looking back at the convo, one thing in particular stands out to me:

We now have very real confirmation that Port is indeed a part of this game. Unfortunately, we're also now missing all of his blog posts and we have no point of reference on them. Did anyone think to archive it all?

The first name on the ticket is five letters and the last name is eight. Since the ticket has a uniform font, and the letters for the name are the same size and height as the "Curran Threater", I was able to space everything out under the apparent blood stains. It came out to five letters in the first name and eight in the last.

I am having a hard time picking out the third letter. When you blow it up, it is easy to see that there is a vertical element to the left side, and there is not a lower horizontal. This means it is either A, F, H, K, M, N, P, R.

It is quite possible that the first name is Diara, which is a female name and means "Gift".

I saved everything I could find in google cache - which appears to be missing "Today...", "This is stupid.", and "Something's Afoot Down at the Circle K". The profile's wiped, so I saved that also. Hopefully somebody's got the above 3 posts saved somewhere?

(I'll try to get these uploaded later today, but somebody else might want to snag the google caches also just in case?)

FYI - when I google maps 445 Geary I get the Golden Gate Theatre, not "The Curran".

*edit* the curran is a real theatre on 445 geary. odd that searching the address defaults automatically to the GGT.

I think I saved Port's entire blog at least I hope I did before the change/Blognapping. I did re-read it and a couple names popped out to me.

Queenie, She seams close to him and knows the his back story as evident from his last post. I tried to contact her through QueenieSPLATgmail.com So far no reply.

DelainaC, She was the only "person" he mentions in his "Who was Jenny" post, I think he said he would answer her respectful question. I tired DelainaCSPLATgmail.com and it bounced right back as a non address.

Just throwing stuff against the wall to see if something sticks.

Looks like everyone spent the night trying to crack the name on the ticket. I was going to suggest that maybe the name wasn't actually the next puzzle - although I don't know what that would leave us with. Then I realized the 1st two puzzles were - 1) Watership Down, 2) Les Miserables. I'm assuming then that the name on the ticket must be a name from some other novel. Which narrows things down - but not much.

@Schwinn: sweeeeeet that's the entire blog! Thanks so much, you and burrito. I'm going to see if I can start pulling a wiki-type thing together since we have gotten so much information is so little time, but it wouldn't hurt to poke thebruce and see if we can get him to wiki it up for us, too.
