Anti-Skynet Fliers

Looks like someone is distributing Anti-Skynet Fliers according to the Resist website:

http://resistorbeterminated.com/resistance-flier-found/

The Resistance seems to be growing.

I picked one of these up at Fantasy Comics in Tucson. They also had a Skynet Security camera installed. Now, its wire has been cut and the camera looks like it's been bashed with a baseball bat.

People are starting to get wise to Skynet Research!!!!

How interesting. I'll have to run by Atomic Comics in Chandler and see if their Skynet camera is still functioning. When they first had it installed, I noticed the employees seemed very wary of it. Hopefully they will be part of the Resistance as well!

Has anyone else seen a flyer or destroyed Skynet Security camera?

Audio Anomol7

There's also a button on the top of the two lines that look like genetic code that if you double click on it plays an audio file

Yeah, it sounds like the audio that was hidden on the Skynet site.

It wasn't until this morning that I was able to find this, because I've left the DCP on for the last two days straight. It wasn't until I turned the program off and reactivated it that it updated and added the audio.

Last night, I called a number of the websites listed on the Skynet Security System webpage (including Comic Book stores throughout the US). I introduced myself as James Doherty of Skynet Research, and explained that I was calling to check on the status of their Skynet Security System's functionality. Everyone I called said that theirs appeared to be working fine... I told them that my call was prompted by reports that some of the systems have been getting smashed by unknown assailants... they said that they hadn't seen anything like that.

*shrugs*

I agree that our main focus should be the password on the DCP, the one on the Skynet Research website will display "ACCESS DENIED" to anything we type in, for now.

XML file

In the log file there is a reference to getgeoIP.php. If you go there, you get an XML file that shows the IP address, Longitude and Latitude and some other data for what seems to be everyone running the DCP software.

Not sure if anyone will find it helpful or not, but I've begun posting some of the information I've been gathering, here.

IP addy, Lat. & Long.? If you read the text at the top, it's almost telling us what they plan on doing with this info:

Skynet came into being with a clear mandate: help the human race reach tremendous goals. Skynet has dedicated itself to making this a reality with its expansive research division that is laser-focused on creating the latest in robotics technology.

You will have to let me know, I was there this weekend, but forgot to even look. Maybe this weekend, I will make a stroll through there or Samurai Comics.
Plus, I will make a phone call to them over lunch and see what they say, posing myself as a skynet rep. Plus I wonder how these comic shops are geting their messages from the PM's?

That's a good question. Last night, when I called Samurai Comics on 7th street in Phoenix, AZ, and posed as a Skynet Representative, the kid on the phone didn't act like he was really in the know, even going as far as to tell me that he only works part-time... but he did play along, if he did know that I wasn't with Skynet Research.

I don't know, I'd be interested in knowing how many of the cameras have been smashed, and what the store owners' take on the smashed systems (and Skynet) are.

So I called Samurai Comics, and the lady there stated it was in working order, So I quickly warned her about a rogue group that was trying to deface Skynet Property and hung up. Sleuthy I know, but I wil lbe calling Atomic Comics at noon today to see whats up. I wonder if any here in phoenix have been smashed?

I just called Atomic Comics, asked if his security system been compromised, explained a rogue group has been smashing and cutting wires, preventing us from providing secruity. He was cool and played along, but that is it.

I have the rest of the week off from work, so I was planning on running in there tomorrow. I'll check out the camera and ask around to see if they have heard about resisting Skynet. Will keep you posted. Smile

That would be extremely cool.

I noticed that if you right-click on the globe, on the DCP, there's a menu that lets you view the statistics of the program. "T ELEMENTS" seems to represent the number of yellow blips on the globe, so I've been checking the number regularly.

[4/14/09 - 10:30] 2,160 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 11:30] 2,185 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 12:14] 2,219 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 13:11] 2,244 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 13:41] 2,260 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 14:22] 2,271 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.

Each of those times are Central, btw.
