Did you go back out again? Either way, thanks again for even trying!! Frustrating, I know. I think that maybe the PMs recognize that their clues are too vague and we are going to enlist Jimmy for some help.

Hi all,

I had gotten a message from Julia early this morning to which I replied (but I'd been in the emergency Vet with my puppy since Sad ) Anyway she had just told me she was in Germany and was hoping for news, so I wrote to her asking her whether our best guess for where Clare might be (Albany Medical Center) was correct and telling her we thought there was some secret message in Clares letter but wondering why she would need to do that, code her letter I mean. This is her reply:

Clare had hidden a message in her letter? What does it say? Are there any hints to where she is?

During our last talk which was a long time ago she said that she didn't trust all the doctors in the clinic. She had the impression that they were somehow spying on her, but she hadn't had anything to proof that. Perhaps that is why she hid the message in her letter? Right after mentioning that to me she switched back and told me how good everyone is caring for her and so on. I didn't pay too much attention to it, because of her switching back to being so positive and I finally forgot about all that. I should have had a better eye on her. It is my fault that she is still there and that I cannot reach her, isn't it?

And yes, you are right. I was born in Germany and my family and I had a nice Easter time. I live here in a town called Potsdam which is not too far away from Berlin. I wish I wouldn't be that far away from New York now. Potsdam 's too far away from Clare. You don't know that yet, but we both met in a ballet school in New York. The qualifying examination had been hard, but we both made it. It was so much fun with her.

And now she is somewhere waiting for my help. My hopes are that she is doing good and that she is far away from what happene to her mother. I still see all this blood when I close my eyes. I can't get that out of my head.

The police officer didn't want me to leave New York at first. He said that I have to stay in New York for his questions and the ongoing investigations. My parents then phoned him and they were able to convince him that I would be accessable to his questions even though I am in Germany. He wasn't one of the nicest guys at first, but he let me go.

I also wanted to note that in the message I've quoted below, the one from Julia to PinkCloud, she says something about Clare not liking those "new technical things":

This might be a clue to corroborate our hunch about the Charlotte Sometimes connection. Clare may be the girl from the past that gets stuck in our time, while Charlotte is stuck in the past. That would explain why Clare is not into these "new things".

I was also wondering if we shouldn't ask Julia to stop by the MPU-Berlin. I tried e-mailing them to get a hold of Jasmin Pleschke, whom Penny mentioned as someone who was either meeting with Dr. Kotzler or had to approve of the meeting. We might ask Julia to at least either call the number, or see if she can find a direct way to contact Dr. Pleschke, somehow e-mailing back the MPU info address is not working.

EDIT: I wrote back to Penny and gave her both sets of coordinates plus one of the satellite map images. We'll see if that's enough to help Jimmy do his thang. Wink

 		Couldn't post this morning, but anyway I got in touch with Julia, filled her in on a few things (hidden coordinates in the letter, Jason checking it out) and she reacted by freaking out about her inability to help Clare. I followed up by sharing more info with her and asking her if there is a way we can contact Clare.

Dante may have pinpointed the location, now with updated coordinates, but unfortunately Jason found nothing when he looked at the old ones. Are you still in contact with Clare, now that you're in Europe and she's here? How did you stay in contact before? It seems like you weren't in contact with each other much, based on the contents of the letter, in which case my query leads me to ask--is there any way you know of to contact her? If you can't contact her from Germany, perhaps we'll have better luck from where we are in the States.

 		Martinez just called me again. He wanted to know if there was any relation between me and Isabell. I played dumb and wanted to know Isabell who. He said, "Isabell." I said "Isabell who?" He said, "Uh, Isabell." I said, "Isabell who?" He hung up.

Weird to say the least, since he was calling her Isabell Alzner last week.

But it came from a real phone number: 631-833-2554

Someone go chew him out for being mean to Penny. Wink

 		Guh, I just had about 10 things happen at once and I can't call Martinez back like I want to. If I called him back, here's what I would ask him.

1) What's he an officer of? Which department? Badge number?
2) Is Martinez his real name? Is he sure about that? What's his first name?
3) If he's supposed to be in NYC, why is his phone number from the middle of Long Island?
4) Why did he give me Isabell's last name last week and not today?
5) Why is he calling people and asking for information about Isabell without saying why?
6) Is Isabell alive or not? Who found her?

You know, stuff like that. Does anyone want to take this and run with it? Maybe I can call him in a little while.

ETA: Just tried to call and it went straight to generic voicemail. I told him he has a lot of splaining to do. Twisted Evil

I think you should ping her then and inquire as to Jimmy's health and whether he has encountered any wild dogs.
