There is a man. A boy really. He causes his father much consternation...
He is a cruel, evil man with desires and tastes that are black.
His father, a very powerful man, has felt like a failure in raising this beast...
He uses his power and his influence to cover the tracks of the son.
Yet hates himself for it.

clas1ca:
do you speak of The One?

tvonfantine:
No. The One is so far beyond this man and his son. The One is indescribable. The One is in no way human.

clas1ca:
ineffable, I see.

tvonfantine:
As one with a sincere love of life and desire to take it, I have been known to assist this son's father from time to time.

clas1ca:
to what agenda?

tvonfantine:
My own? Salvation. His? He's a drop of wax on a termite.
Not long ago, this father's son hurt a young girl.
Her family had moved from the country to the city. They didn't understand that the morals are different in populated places.
Didn't understand their place.
Rebuffed the agents of the son's father who came bearing gifts in exchange for silence.
The silence of their only daughter.
Their poor, brutalized daughter.
The girl's parents thundered about prosecution and arrest...
They didn't understand.
The morals of populated places.
The publicity would not do for the son's father...nor the shame on his name.
So, once again, he contacted me.
He sat at his carved desk, and wept openly in front of me.
He apologized again and again for his beast of a child.
Told me of his childhood days, fishing with his father in the rivers of Colorado. Only wanting that relationship with his own son.
But knowing that his wife had bore a snake.
And that it was his pennance to protect the boy. From his own black heart.
Now here's where my purpose comes in...so you and your brood will want to pay close attention.

clas1ca:
I am listening.

tvonfantine:
I am as silent as an evening breeze and they were asleep.
I entered through the back door, the smell of their laundry room was intoxicating. Soap and clothing and sweat of these people.
The kitchen was dark. Quiet. A small light above the stove illuminating the pattern of the linoleum.
The simple Shaker table and chairs. A bowl of green apples.
The living room was spacious and dark. The screen of the TV still glowing from recent use.
I inhaled deeply and loved the scents of this country family. Dad's Stetson cologne.
Mom's pungent nail polish.
Daughter's tears.
As I moved up the carpeted stairs, casting a long shadow on the walls, I ran my fingers along the picture frames hanging.
Smiling images from days gone by.
Little baby in mother's arms...
First grader with a gap-toothed grin...
Sixth grader trying to look sophisticated.
Three doors at the top of the stairs.
I looked to the left and could see the girl, back to me. Hair in a loose ponytail...spread out on her pillow.
To the right was mom and dad. Sleeping. So peacefully...side by side. Hands near each other as if they drifted to sleep holding each other.
I squatted next to their bed for a long time...absorbing the humanity before me.
Dad. Trying his best to provide for his family. Feeling neutered by the assault on his daughter...by the screaming and tearing way which all innocence was lost. Hers...and theirs.
I inhaled deeply...loving his cologne...smelling that mom was ovulating.Oh how I wished to be a part of this family.
I loved them, don't you see? Everything about them.
And as I withdrew my 9mm...the long, slender silencer reflecting the bit of moonlight in the window...
I needed for them to be a part of me.
Two quick shots...

clas1ca:
and then they were yours.

tvonfantine:
Their pain was gone.
They then stood before me.
Holding hands and smiling.
I draw closer and embrace them...
And they join the others...and I can feel them loving me.
As I stand...in ecstasy with their deaths...I hear the girl walking down the hall.
A light explodes in the hall and then disappears as she swings the door shut.
I hear the toilet flush.
All she has to do is look to the left and would see me...
Ready for her...
She does not.
But I see her.
The bruises...the swollen eyes.
The lips crusted with blood.
And beyond that I see her soul. Destroyed from the moment that the father's son first set eyes on her.
Eyes of desire.
Eyes of evil.
She was thirteen, my friend.
And he killed her with his brutality...and his cold, black heart.
And I loved her.
I redeemed her with a single shot as she walked back to bed.
And she is with me now too.
As eventually everyone must be.
And I folded my wings...
And I moved back through their wonderful, loving home...
And I disappeared into the night.
And a man like Hitler could never understand the love involved in death like that.
Not while he looked into his oval mirror...contemplating the lives of those that he feared and hated.
That's how ghosts are created, my friend.
I leave nothing behind but exploded bodies.
The souls are free. And loved.
Always.
And that's what I couldn't say in 140 characters.

I need you to understand me.

clas1ca:
I am trying.

tvonfantine:
One way or another...you will.

clas1ca:
we will try. but tell me, surely, there is more purpose to your story than just mere understanding.
what do you have in store for us?

tvonfantine:
You need to understand that there is always purpose to what I say. Whether you understand or not.
What do I have in store?
I am but a pawn in this game also, my friend.

clas1ca:
hm.
what does the king have in store, then?

tvonfantine:
The One is coming.
It will become obvious.

I'm wondering if these really are from Port. And if they are, I suspect they are giving some sort of clue as to his whereabouts, or intentions or something. They're obviously not just posted there for fun.
Problem is, I haven't seen anything so far. Not in the properties of the pictures, no geo-data, extra notes, and nothing embedded so far as I can tell - but I've never got a de-steg to work, so take that as you will.

So far it's been posted in the order of:
6 - The Lovers (April 12)
3 - The Empress (April 13)
2 - The Priestess (April 13)
3 - The Empress (April 14)
3 - The Empress (April 15)
4 - The Emperor (April 15)

At first, I thought it might be a phone# - but 632 would dial Manila in the Philippines. Maybe we're waiting for a set of all the numbers?
Transpose them to letters? ECBCCD? Then ROT 'em? Nope.

I dunno, just kinda throwing ideas out.

BTW - still nothing received in the mail from Port.... I'm not sure whether I should expect something or not, he did ask for my address - so who knows.

Damnit - that'll teach me to become complacent. So we have a new directive from Port. Jenny is definitely alive (not sure how you'd survive a head wound like that..). But how do we find her?
Has TT made any mention of her, or have we mentioned her to TT?

 		You may be behind in the JDM storyline, but we've gotten pretty much nothing from the PK storyline. There are the cards, which we've yet to come up with a meaning for, and JDM saying he was looking for PK and getting pissed that we didn't know anything about it. That's from the transcript of Syn's first conversation with him.

Well, as of yesterday according to the email, we know he was in Oklahoma. Which now explains what JDM was doing there. But as you read, the email itself was a bit confusing:

BVO is an airport code for (BVO) "Bartlesville, Oklahoma, USA - Bartlesville Municipal Airport"

Also regarding the tarot cards that all seem to be from the same deck The Rider-Waite tarot deck http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rider-Waite#The_Major_Arcana_of_the_Rider_deck except the priestess. So for I cant find the deck that it comes from. [I dont know if that means anything.]

The cards are there for a reason like wulf said I cant find anything extra in them. Maybe we need to learn to play a game, are the card representing a certain hand? [like a royal flush] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarot_card_games

There is also a Tarot - Freemason connection.

 		That was certainly an interesting read....that took up a good part of my afternoon while at work.

I'm going to *try* to keep up with this and see where it goes. It's interesting and sort of disturbing all at the same time.

Also an O.T.O. connection.. their "magick" rituals and symbols are largely based off of Golden Dawn's.

Wouldn't it be funny if this was some kind of viral marketing for Starbucks, promoting a new drink? Maybe the "Tarot Chi latte"?

The Tazo Chai ARG!

I think starbucks and lattes are synonomous with a yuppie lifestyle that's become cliche in regards to the hatred of introverted outsiders. it's all the product of one mind, the PM, and we're getting a look into his actual mentality. i don't think it's just a construct of the characters.

 		There are so many Tarot Decks
Yes, all but the High Priestess cards appear to be from the Rider-Waite tarot (and the most common version, which is easy to find online.) Trying to find the exact deck the Priestess card was chosen from would take weeks, if you can even find a full 72 card pictured set of each. There must be around 300 listed here, not counting Oracle cards and Divination cards: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/list.shtml.

I can see the High Priestess is not from the Crowley Tarot, nor the Brotherhood, Cat People, De Vinci, Masonic (at least not the one pictured) or Robin Wood Tarot decks.

Could it be as simple as the Tarot cards are each representing a character in the story arc? We got Empress three times, and that seemed to correspond to both Belle and Queenie, as Port was talking about both in some short order before the cards appeared. Could the Priestess be Jenny or TT? Since Port is in OK and the Emperor showed up today, maybe this is a connection and reason for the cards.

[Edited to add: The Lovers showed up around the same time Port was speaking about himself and Belle... Am I remembering correctly on that timing?]

It wouldn't explain who is putting them up however.
