Well spotted. A code?
Here's what I've got (Format is: Letter before / Letter after)
Code:
d/w
 /a
t/w
c/r
T/h
i/e
o/n
n/g
a/t
n/l
d/e
p/w
e/a
i/n
t/y
h/i
i/n
g/a

Anyone make any sense out of that?

Re: [TRAILHEAD] Intimation
Re: code?

Given the space that appears before the second comment, I'm inclined to look at the letters appearing after the comments. Tried ROT1 through ROT25 of "wawrhengtlewanyina" without getting anything comprehensible either forward or backward. Possibly an anagram?

Edit:

That's very good. You are quite a detective. S has never done anything randomly. There must be meaning to the corruption.

I see an "anything" towards the bottom there.

couldn't find any anagram solves that looked to be relevant - even tried the first group of letters. interestingly though, the first group of letters seem to resemble the words "dictionary", possibly "and", and "thing"

this is just a hunch though.

I dont know how probable this is but it could be something like
first letter/ last letter

d/w could be draw and n/a could be ninja t/w could be throw

dont have enough time to check everything on http://wordover.com/ right now as I am at work.

eta: second thought is that it could be acronyms

t/h could be thermal and hydraulic

http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/t%2fh

again, not enough time to check theory

I still haven't found a suitable phone, but i'll be in the mission area tomorrow.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna do...

edit: got some picture but no luck.
i will do everything in my power but i don't see victory in the near future... it may be awhile.
i think this one came out pretty well

Taking a different tack, in case it's not an anagram, here's the words that the <!--/--> tags appear inside:

Code:
dwy (reading the sentence, probably was intended to be "dewy"
/ a (this one comes between a space and "a" so it could be either?
between
creation
They
carried
connected
opening
deactivated
motionless
understood
Shipwreck
Repeat
instability
priority
think
fracturing
Sacagawea

Another thought that occurred to me, what if it is a numeric puzzle of some kind? Something to do with the numbers of the letters, or the number of letters between them? Perhaps the number of words or the number of letters in the words from which the letters were taken?

the key video was related to the misspelled poem from the beginning, and has already been solved.

7 people have attempted the missions, but they've all aborted. They were members of the gps site not affiliated with this ARG. I'm thinking that they were asked something only one of us (that have played the puzzles) would know.

I bought a phone and i'm currently working on getting it GPS capable.
If all goes well I should be able to try the St. Louis mission on 5/3.

So it's been about time S comes out of hiberation (tomorrow) and no one has solved this yet? Confused

I thought it might have had something to do with the GPS too, but apparently not... hopefully we can get this done before S wakes up.

Hey all I`m still going to Toronto just later than I thought. I`m currently packing and it`ll be about a week before I get there. I forgot this past weekend was Easter weekend *headhand*. So it was a no-go anyways.

As of next Thursday I'll be there. I unpack Friday and then Saturday I may have plans with a friend...as in I'm pretty sure they'd love a tresure hunt and really would love this. I'm going to be there for at least three years so yay! Anyone also playing Summer O'Nine? Just curious.

Just curious but is S the 'Spider'? I'm still catching up a bit on ILoveBees.

Awesome so I'm all updated on what happened. GPS Co-ordinates can equal anything from a payphone to . I'll watch everything. Plus add a Base decoder onto my laptop, just in case my internet signal suddenly dies for a bit.

coffeegirl18, I haven't gotten the analogies completely straight in my head, but I'd say that Sacagawea is Melissa, S or Essy is the Sleeping Princess, intimation might be the operating system or Spider, and I'm guessing that the scorpion is the pious flea.

As for this puzzle, I've tried searching through Native American and African tribal dictionaries (did you know that "wanyina" is mother in the Wisa-lala dialect of Northern Rhodesia), researching Navajo Talk code from WW11, and counting letters up the wazoo. It seems so simple now.....

d/w
/a
t/w
c/r
T/h
i/e
o/n
n/g
a/t
n/l
d/e
p/w
e/a
i/n
t/y
h/i
i/n
g/a

Gives http://thewaytheirworldended.com/WATCHING-AND-WAITING/

A different sand painting page.
