i did have a bad feeling last night when i entered the 'steinway' answer and got the /detected page - including the line saying the information has been sent to the hitman.

not sure yet whether we have solved the puzzle incorrectly, or whether this was always a trap waiting to happen. have been thinking about it but can't see how it could have been avoided, unless we got the solve a lot earlier than expected, before other information was made available to us. which leads to the other possibility: that EYE is involved (as EYE SPY suggests above).

we have been warned before that we might not be able to trust EYE - is this evidence of it? EYE would have little to fear from a microbial attack, and seems to be still in existence in future Adam's timeline. and i never did trust AI

will think about ways to save Eve today, but it may already be too late. of course, we don't know what other repercussions changing the timeline might have, if Eve is killed before the original date...

it certainly doesn't look good. not sure if we should be doing anything now or waiting to see what happens. the twitter activity has been high, and i have sent off a couple of messages in case we are still able to influence the outcome of the hitman's mission.

as far as i can see we have only two possible ways to protect eve - get into the hitman's gmail account to find out who he is, or what his plans are, or convince TSO/eve to move, or to at least prepare for the hitman's arrival.

if she is killed before 1 may then everything we know so far from future sources is subject to change, so we will need to reconsider anything we think we know.

future Adam told us that even if we save Eve, she is dead in his timeline. so i am assuming that we are working on the principle of numerous possible threads of time, one of which (future Adam) has prompted us to affect our own reality. as we now seem to have done that (in a monumentally bad way...oops) then i guess future Adam's timeline and our own are now separating further and further apart - so there may be other consequences.

mind you, the whole 'time' thing usually gives me a headache, so who knows off out for provisions in case tonight is as busy as last night - i think mexican food and beer will suit the arrival of the hitman.
