she goes to a local highschool apperntly (there's where jersy knows her from) if the highschool is near the base, persumable soem of them would have parents that worked there.

Jan lives in the same building as Jersey. So maybe they go to the same school, but there is no guarantee of that.

There is a Bergen County in northern New Jersey, but no city of "Paris" in NJ. Maybe the "Paris" stands for P, like he is telling them the designation of the police station, p23.

I hope this isn't already covered by the time I post...

It's now obvious from context that Jan is just a member of James' crew, not a real daughter, but he cares for her as a guardian.

The "I'll take care of it..." seems like a pretty strong lead-in to the fire burning down the police station to cover their tracks. No injuries, computer systems had been hacked to not be alerted, it all points to the fact that James does NOT want anyone finding out about his special 17-year old's genetic mods.

OK, we know from the books that:

- Mendez was supposedly going to train more Spartans
- Col. Akerson (?) was working on a secret weapons project that was referred to as 'S3'.
- Akerson refers to Halsley's Spartan IIs as "freaks" or somesuch.
- Most people are uncomfortable around the Spartans.

My hypothesis - The Spartan III project attempted to make these Spartans more 'human', and secretly integrated them into the population on Earth. Why, I don't know. Jan is one of these Spartan IIIs.

Less well supported, I suspect that Jan is the Sleeping Princess. But that's just a hunch.

It's now definite that James started the fire in the police station - "I'll take care of it". He also says someting about a unit, so now we definatly know about him being activly involved in the millitary.

I'll be opening a mirror for the Axon Sounds with trascripts etc, later on today. Only something simple.

The caller in the emergency.wav file doesn't sound like a professional anything, I dont see a reason why he would use military abbreviations. Also, we distinctly have the recording saying "Bergen County" and the only Bergen County in the United States is in New Jersey
