the jejune ring tone is neat but what i really want is the music in the background of the general commercial and the induction video.

A theory

I talked a coworker into visiting the Jejune Institute and he and another coworker did the induction on Saturday and when he returned to work he relayed an interesting theory.
He was at first surprised at the amount of fellow inductees and being the inquisitive fellow that he is he found out that a sculpture class from SF State was doing the induction as required by their teacher. During his discussions with some of the other students they theorized that the money needed to run Jejune might becoming from SF State as part of an art project grant. He also found out that the teacher of the class has a degree in sociology which made the theory even more interesting .Of course this is just a theory with no proof but still it made us think.
While also talking about how the induction went my coworker told me about a shrine to Eva that had been set up. He forgot his camera so I didn't get to see a picture but it was cool to hear that things are always changing, and it made me want to go and take a second look for anymore clues that might be out there.

A shrine huh? That sounds pretty cool... but could they maybe be talking about the 3ls3wh3r3 portal at the end of the induction? I'm not sure... but I think I might be heading down to the city this Wed (I'll tell you more about it later...) I think I'm going to go through the induction again, and see if anything has changed.

so,...

Had anything changed?
I'm going to try and get a group together for a mass induction in May, assuming it's still an option.

A shrine to Eva
and not on website hosting plans from 1996 either

I found that on Flickr recently. Is that a dinosaur in the little plastic baggie? Cheers.

Mm. Hmm.

Ahem.

Please tell me you (you!) are free on the eve of the last day of this month.

BIG UPDATE:

A few of us have been selected to tell you the recent initiates of the Jejune Institute to join the GROWING NUMBER OF NONCHALANTS on April 30th.

There is going to be a large gathering of us in Union Square, and afterward we are going to hit up a local night club and get out Nonchalance on. It should be a blast! Stay tuned for more info. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell a stranger. It's going to be awesome.

This is what I get for taking my sweet time crafting
posts I think are "fun"

So I've spent the last day or two working on this post, which starts out something like this:

Quote:

It occurred to me that you might be thinking, "Uh, what's with April 30 and this sudden hinting of activity? Where is this coming from?"

Lights!
Camera!
&_ ______
(but without the exclamation point)

Apologies for being oblique.

We've talked about meeting up before, and now the EPWA is providing the means, if we provide some mojo. Also, there will be an after-party which we can lead you to, so come for that and the mingling and I imagine some sort of hijinks. To tell you the truth, we don't know anything about that part. Just the where, not the what.

But many of you, I'm sure, got a text message today? Something about a call to action and "this ain't no clue," yar.

I'm SO BUSTED. Argh. Sad And I was kinda tipsy Wednesday night with my last post, I'm sure.

Anyway, the post I was working on continues with this:

Quote:
Now you may be thinking, "JASON 7AU YOU JACKASS HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT NEW COMMAND" and you are right. I am down with your confusion. Here's the deal:

But I'm now stupid late for Guerrilla Queer Bar and I gotta go. Now. Eep. The rest of the story will have to wait. I'm sorry, mea culpa. Sad

Get your &_action on. Grab a mask if you're so inclined. Plan your fancy duds. Do it. And meet everyone up at the appointed place/time coordinate. It'll be fun. I promise you.

 That's pretty good.
Draw the lightning away from you and to the skull, good thinking!

briareosH, as always, I dig the cut of your jib, and salute you.

Also, I miss Uzi Reptoid.

Also, here I am posting after having a couple of beers. Will I ever learn? Mayhaps not.
