i agree w/krystyn - that's totally weird - why not share all the information with the dwindling down group? this is an oog space.

i've been lurking this game and at this point its more than frustrating to have
a fellow player withhold info about the game - the above email post tells us nothing.

and note to the PMs - please have some respect for the few players left and post something about what happened & give "this is my milwaukee" some closure

My best guess on this is that the PMs have some sort of confidentiality agreement stopping them from posting. Whatever it is, I wouldn't suggest anyone waste any time waiting for anything to happen. But that is just my opinion.

"confidentiality agreement" were the words i was looking for. thanks!

also, if you think i'm trolling/being an ass/w.e, thank you for your support! i'll gladly stand here, supporting you in your incorrect thoughts. i'm only posting what has been sent to me, and what i believe is passable. i cannot say anything else regarding the messages. i'll only inform you to the accounts being active. that is all.

thank-you for your cooperation.

So I was right. It happens so rarely, I like to point it out.

Anyway, I think that all there is left to do is wait it out, which I'm not wasting time doing. But if something happens, I'll definitely check it out.

i'd say something like check back weekly, if a storm arose, you'll have some fun getting caught up.

*boggle*

I don't think anyone said anything of the kind.

However, I still think it's really weird. Why share information with only a couple of people when there is some sort of confidentiality issue that would preclude sharing with everyone and anyone?

HOW COME I AM NOT SPECIAL????

(just kidding! - although, really, that's what this sort of smacks of, and why it irritates me just a tiny little bit. it comes off like the rest of us who have been here playing are not good enough to receive information. you know?)

it's because of the content and it's nature.
and it's only me and one other person, that person having some rights to read something like 80% of it.
hell, i'm starting to say too much...

The PM's also sent me a top secret message... I'll pass it along...

There's a reason the community is having a tough time believing you, and that's because this is fundamentally next to impossible to believe.

The information is either secret, or it isn't. If it's truly secret and the PMs are legally obligated to keep it secret, they wouldn't tell you just for kicks. If it's not secret, then there's no reason to withold it from the community.

Imagine a lawyer type in a three-piece suit sitting in an office with a view of Manhattan behind him, slamming his fist on the desk and shouting "This information must be kept absolutely confidential at all costs!! You can tell one random dude, and he can tell his one random buddy... but that's it!! Nobody else!!"

...doesn't exactly make a whole lot of sense, does it?
