You can take a sex cell and merge it with the mothers embryo, is like artificial insemination, it doesnt have to be a direct copy.

plus, thats for sex drive, it doesnt mean he cant just that he doesnt really feel the need to, my cloning idea was a further idea for how he might have done it in another way than just plain sex.
