At first glance, I'd say it's a substitution cipher, just with non-alphabetic characters. For example, the sequence ↕y? appears quite a few times, and 4 times as a "word" on its own.

What language has the game primarily been in so far? English or Danish? (I'm guessing Danish, which means I can't be any help beyond that)

btw. there has been tekst in both Danish and English, but ill look it over my self...

I see Greek characters in there however they don't form any words at first glance.

so...
Iw found a list of letter frequencies in the Danish language, and a tool to count the top 25 recurring words.... but with the text not using the a-z is my only option to find/count each symbol in a word.doc - or do anny one know of a symbol/letter counter?

It's English.

Because they're substituting single letters in most cases, but double in others (all occurrences of "7T", "DR" and "[6", for instance), it may take a while to nail it down. Also, don't trust the punctuation. Commas are "D"s.

That said...
Is there a "Natalia Petrova" in this game?

Something about corporate espionage and agents infiltrating important scientific institutions, universities, and think-tanks in phase one and development of required technologies in phase two.

I didn't take it much further than that.

Well, except the "World domination" part of Phase 8.

ETA: Forgot to add that the MOST difficult part of this decode is that more than one of the letters in the cipher can represent a single letter in the decode.
Also, that some single characters in the cipher are 2 letters in the decode. (Like "Ξ" being "LL"

OO oh no world domination!!! ...thank god were on to them.

hey great help - i was just logging back on, to tell that it was definitely not Danish. the frequency "swap" was a total mess Smile

but Rogi -if i may ask?- how did you "see" it.
did you use something to scramble it a bit, or do you just recognize patterns?

On ones like this, I usually go into Word or Writer and replace characters starting at the beginning with letters in a different font color.
so "�vΩμΔ↕Δ1" becomes "ABCDEFEG".

On something this large, where you run out of letters to substitute, I usually stop when I get to "Z" and work with just that bit to see possibilities.

Do a frequency analysis (Some day, I've gotta upload the newer version of that.) and start going at it.

If you're having trouble getting the substitutions to fall into place, I'd suggest trying various options under WebDecrypto/WinDecrypto.

im done - thx for leaving something for me to figure out myself.

now ill go tell the rest of the "gang" that my international contact Rogi Ocnorb looked right through the kode, and revealed the devious Natalia Petrova.
