(Please don't shout at me if some of these labels are wrong, just tell me so I can fix them. It is pretty hard getting all them on and in the right place because the silly thing keeps turning around.)

I am still unable to locate the first signifier, any help would be appreciated.

 		Actually, why is everyone calling it a 'solar system', when it actually looks more like the Local Stellar Neighborhood...

At the bottom of the image you've posted, or in the upper right, are what appear to be two yellow stars (a binary) with a third component. These would be Alpha Centauri A and B with small Proxima nearby. So Sol (our Sun) would be a comparable nearby yellow star. 5309... or 7405... would fit the bill.

See if likes either of those lone yellow stars as the Location Identifier?

nice image ^^ , but why are you calling it a solar system ? the task imo is to find the solar system .

Thanks. I downloaded fakewebcam. Doesn't really matter here. This computer is a dinosaur. I will try camtasia when i get home.

 		It almost seems like they want us to record that sequence of tones in Malak0's new video.. maybe to play back and activate something,, similar to the video cams only with audio.. Possible?

 		I should have mentioned it here already... I recorded the tones from the video and uploaded them to the wiki earlier today: http://startrek.wikibruce.com/Malak0

Listening again to the video that came from Madrid (http://bit.ly/tQfft), and I think those sound like a distorted version the same tones as these.

Yes, the tones specifically seem to be analyzable and repeating in a pattern of perhaps 9 notes.

If we identify them by pitch, with 0 the lowest and 9 the highest... or is 0 a rest. Hmmm. It seems to bridge (using C major) from G below to g above. There's a definite pattern I here repeating G c c g G c c g with extra notes thrown in. Match that with G = 0, 1, or 2. Then c = 3, 4, or 5. G = 7, 8, or 9. Perhaps it is modulo too. Hard to tell.

Pick a "seed" for G, say 0. Then 0 3 3 7 appears. Pick 1, then it's 1 4 4 8,. Pick 2 and it's 2 5 5 9. Find those among the coordinates, try to fill in the rest and hope it's on a solitary yellow (G class) star.

I hear 8 distinct notes (plus a rest). The pattern is:

1st note, rest, 2nd note, rest, 2nd note, 1st note, 3rd note, rest, 2nd note, rest, 4th note, 5th note, 3rd note, 6th note, 7th note, 8th note


I'm not sure what we're supposed to do with them yet, but I suspect that these notes will come into play at some point.
