Auz, I would love to do a transcript!

ETA:
~
Korszellemfilm Part 1

NARRATOR:
The clandestine war between the powers that would become the Arc and the Anios has been raging for more than two millenia, though evidence suggests the rivalry existed for several hundred years before the dawn of the common era.
It was not until the rise of the Sasanid Empire early in the third century that the embers of a bitter enmity were fanned into flame.
After four hundred years of rule, the Parthians, who had extended their expansive lands for centuries against the incursions of a burgeoning Roman Empire, at last succumbed form within to the ambitions of a governor named Ardashir the first who, seeing opportunity in a power struggle for the Parthian throne, began an uprising that overthrew the long-reigning Arscacid Dynasty.
From the ashes of this line were born the Sasanids, who until the decline and fall in the year 651, ruled over a vast empire that at one time extended from Egypt and modern-day Turkey in the east all the way to the wilds of northern India.
The state religion of the Sasanids was zoroastrianism, named for the prophet Zoroastor, who exalted a supreme deity known as Ahura Mazda, and told of the god's eternal struggle against his nemesis Angra Mainyu.
~

lots of looking-up on Wikipedia what the actual names of the governors, gods, etc were.

Lisa is going to the drop coordinates with her brother
Either today or Tomorrow

Nice work on the new links,pw & vid AUZ! And thanks for the trans _ghost, now I don't have to do it hehehehe. Oh and I'm pretty sure this is obvious, but wanted to note that: "korszellem", literally "spirit of the age", the Hungarian equivalent of the German "Zeitgeist".

Lisa's blog has a new entry "I'll be back soon". - Looks like shes going to go the the coords with her Brother either Today or Tomorrow.

Let's hope Lisa finds the next clue soon. :)

So I guess now we play The Waiting Game...

In the mean time, any theories on who Mr. PW is yet?

We know he's an author.
We know he's claiming credit for something he didn't write.
We know he understands a situation better than us at the moment.
We know he's connected to the letters "P" and "W".

I've been looking up pictures of famous authors whose initials match "P.W.", but so far none of them look like this guy. This means either he's not really that famous, or he's an in-game character.

Maybe he's a journalist, or a scientist who "wrote" a thesis...?

I'll keep looking.

summary of sorts

hello all i have been lurking for a while and thought I would post a kind of summary. Not sure if this needs a spoiler so i will anyway.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Diocletian (c 240 AD) brought in many reforms to do with tax and the military
but is well known for his suppression of the Manichees, which led to the
persecution of the Christians.
Constantine (c 272 AD) was a member of the Diocletian Court, and then later Ceaser, who famously
saw a vision of the cross ( I think before the battle of Mulvian bridge),and then went on to give privileges to the clergy and establish a church building program.( originally a vision of Apollo, but he seems to have changed his mind towards the end of his life)
Historia Nova is a history covering this time period and is one of the only none Christian ancient sources we have of this period, it takes a dim view of the clergy and equates Christians with the fall of the Roman Empire.
Anius son and priest of Apollo mythical founder of Delos the supposed birth place of Apollo and Artemis.
EL-Ahrairah trickster rabbit and protagonist of watership down Confused

Please disregard if none of this makes sense Very Happy

Hi adamtash77 Smile

With no new Lisa updates yet, I started looking around for supplementary pics of the coord area (for graffiti or anything else) & I found this link at Cinemanovel of the following Flikr photostream. Looking at PAGE 5, "IMG_0369" & "IMG_0360" shows a building at the coords. "IMG_0366" & "IMG_0365" show (I think) the exact location of the coords.

Based on that I wrote her nudging for an info post on her status, and basically explaining that if there is no geo cache (obvious) type drop there, to look at the graffiti, girders, stairs & foliage located "behind and underneath".

Still waiting...

ETA:
Lisa has a FACEBOOK. Michael is one of her friends, & they both have mutual friends on there (Ill tell you if she friends me).

No updates for several days. Lisa wanted to check out the pick up at Monday or Tuesday. Should we be concerned?

ETA: At least The Ennead Episode 6 is available. Will watch it now.

Episode 6

Hmm...At least we know what the count-down's for now... and that the Ennead is set on 06 SEP 2009...
Don't have access to HD so could not read the poster on the wall or get a good look at 1:20...Why would it be relevant?

I am sort of concerned about this. With the caveat that Lisa friended me on Facebook last night, so either her account was hacked, or she really friended me around 11:00 PM (PST). Hopefully shes just busy getting the cluey goodness from the drop together.

Even with HD on a 32 inch monitor I could not read the text under the L'Estasi poster (text is angled and blurs together). - I assume you meant around 6:20, but from my perspective its relevant because Lisa has the same poster on her wall, and the Ennead channel avatar is also that symbol.

I'm with AUZ on this one, ummm what clue you talkin bout?

Episode 5 Prelude

I thought it was just a way to "extend" the short episode by having something to keep us interested...However, when you use the title of the book that Cats picks up and combine it with the website on the Author's left sleeve...Well let's just say it is a little bit jucy... (No further hints... Shocked...for now)

Yeah I can't read it either, but it seems that some of our Canadian friends have recongnised it as a "CBC 3 Shirt". I went to the website, but it was messy and I didn't know what I was looking for. I tried a few searches, but nothing came up. I don't know how the book relates...I hope this isn't a red herring...
Is the book Running Wild? (LIke mentioned before, no access to HD, so can't read the cover...

website for CBC 3 Radio: radio3.cbc.ca

(but it doesn't look like what's on the sleeve... again sorry no HD Sad )

The deer/duckfeet logo on the chest of the shirt is the CBC3 Radio logo. Look at THIS & click the "PODCASTS / SHOWS" link at the top to view the deer logo.

With that, I cannot make out the URL on the shirt sleeve either (I tried maniping that last night with no love).

The book is titled RUNNING WILD (its the soft cover version).

End Note: I tried to forward slash the radio3.cbc.ca deal with runningwild etc & again (zero love coming my way). heheh I'm confused & that site is messy...
