I dunno--Alcatraz (on the island, anyway) is non-functional. King's supposed to be in Washington, DC, in any case... unless someone's moved him without telling us.

edit:: yep, to confirm this, I emailed the 'engima' address that sent us the Hazeltine Report puzzle earlier, asking him... it if he knew where 'the King' was.

Hmmm.
Fucking around in photopoops with overlaying maps... the green dots generally refer to military bases and airports... on top of the Ronald Reagan one, there's the Andrews AFB and the Fort Belvoir marked... still looking...

Do these kinds of maps usually have these dots all over them? On closer inspection, there's 'cut outs' in some of the green ones.

edit:: blue dots respond to the NSA building in Fort Meade, the Anne Arundel Community College, and the University of Maryland campus.

Excellent find. From what I can tell, the maps normally don't have the dots on them. Thinking those were added by the Watchers, so WHAT DOES IT MEAN? :3

our friend Becky dropped by the IRC again and pointed out that on the Donnie Darko CIA picture that tells us the key is in play, there was some faint wording at the bottom of the page. what turns up again? originalwarren.html


Now, this was mentioned on the oracle blog. originalwarren.html turns up nothing on bricker's website, which is the only actual site we have right now.

however, a warren is a group of rabbits. the ORIGINAL WARREN from Watership Down was the sandleford warren.

Here's the .mp3 file that was actually playing in the background, plus the Brightman image, just in case they decide to clean the page off now that we've finally found the dang thing.

Also: as Schwinn discovered in the chat, the image looks a helluva lot like the thing Port doodled into his book here. I am also going back through Hatch's blog posts and the history of the Brightman Institute's building somewhat resembles the history of Alcatraz Prison. Which I only know about because we found that other image earlier today ...

Just lurked myself all the way through. 40 pages is a lot. It took me maybe about 6 hours total to read the whole thread. And then I skipped the manuscripts, original Port King posts and some chats.

I think the wiki needs to be updated though. I might do it some day, but I'll be going in a minute. Real Life calls me.

So yeah, I'm definitely going to participate and/or lurk around.

There have been a few different codes in which we've had to divide by x and then do simple substitution for. Been a different number each time, but the PM seems to be fond of them. We found Bricker's email that way, as well as a code that TT sent us early on.
That said, the Hazeltine Report is only as IG as the blog goes, in my opinion. Email address has been confirmed as one of the Watchers, since it did send back that map.

And I would definitely recommend reading the manuscripts, for yourself and anyone else lurking. They fill in a lot of blanks and clear up a lot of confusions as far as character roles go.

Did a little wiki updating: other than general cleanup, the Brightman Oracle blog content has been added to the website, as well as that epic cluebat we got the other day, hrr hrr.
I want to do a page for the Curran ticket, as well as start making pages for each character we've had contact with so the conversations with them can be gathered... other than that, what do people want most on the wiki? I'll try to get to those first.
