edit: yea i guess those pictures from the hiding spots are the old constellations we had to solve prior, although i dont remember that last one w.e it is

When you see a yellow dot, that means that something is stored there.
On the bottom it will tell you what is there, either a research note or a mission log.

At >MEM:LOC// will be the address to get to that item, by putting those 16 characters here "http://thewaytheirworldended.com/SYS/xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
This works for the research notes, but I haven't figured out how to get to the logs with these codes.

I found the path to the video: XC-RB-PY-SY-ZL, but when i click play it never buffers.

edit: Some of the paths seem to be random, I've gotten to the video 3 different ways now.
