@UberTaco: Had the same problem/query when looking at that source. But if you're right why bother to specify "size="9". Do you know why?
Agree the flickering light refers to the new flickr image. Sweet Yams work Y'alls.

By my copy-paste-VIM count, the phrase "all hope abandon, ye who enter in" appears on line 9 of the translation of the Divine Comedy that I found. Maybe that's why size="9" is specified?
Then again, it could just be purely aesthetic reasons. I don't know what is or isn't coincidence anymore.

Fun useless fact;
Googling "flickr I III IX you_found_me" ends up putting Thebruce one the bottom of the page.
What about the size of the graphic? "304"?

I just take it from the fact that the light is flickering, one side is more red-tinted while the other more blue-tinted (as in the flickr logo) and the form submits a Dante's Inferno-related variable name.

Wow, sir. I stand corrected. I don't know how they managed to monkey with their CGI settings, but apparently that's the password for nebula.html.
So from that, we get a movie when you click the static that shows us a single frame around halfway through.
The frame is a newspaper, with the headline:

Careful not to move your mouse off the movie player -- that'll revert the page to the enormous irritating static image.

Google sent me this; http://www.inform-fiction.org/examples/Advent/Advent_3.txt
Search for the "Inside a building, a well house for a spring.
Also, the box is called magic.
Wrong answers = "You are inside a building, a well house for a spring."
