Still doesn't explain why they would do that while leaving the rest of the ARG community out in the cold, but it's the distinction between highly dubious claim and complete fabrication. There is some activity still going on, as can be seen in the original TIMM video's youtube comments.

huh, I was assuming that the poster here had worked out a confidentiality arrangement with the PMs, and that that agreement prevented him or her from discussing that agreement. I was also assuming he or she knew the PMs or somehow got to know them through the game. That is a lot of assuming, I'm know, but that is all that makes sense to me.

At this point, I'm just going to assume the posters are quite young (ie, "mainly because he lives a good 5 mins bike ride away") and don't know any better. And I will forgive them, because I don't think they're trying to torture us on purpose.

Plus, if the PMs really wanted to get a message to us, there are about a billion different ways for them to do it, including plenty of out of game options. So whatever the email contains can't be that important.

I had a dream the other night that I was at some sort of Funhouse and while inside I found the clues we needed to make the game start moving again. I was so stoked and I couldn't wait to get on here and post what I found. Then I woke up and realized that it wasn't real and the game isn't going to move forward. I still decided to check out if anything happened and saw all this nonsense about people hearing from the PM's that the game was still alive. And then I thought about it

TIMM is not still alive. Even if they are going to try and continue (which I doubt) they have still lost almost every major player on these boards. People were dropping like flies when they had to wait over the christmas lull and now there's nobody left. It'd take a miracle to bring all of that back into the game. I hate to be a downer but its not coming back. I wish it would (actually I wish it never left) but its the truth

all bark, no bite i think if something big came up, all the old players would be back. the allure of the awesome puzzles would be too much temptation.

fwiw, i also believe its dead and have made my peace with never knowing what exactly happened to the ficitous milwaukee. i did that about 2 months ago and a little piece of me died that day. lawl
