Problems with search

I know I haven't gone completely bonkers. Or have I? Items I know should be found on forum search aren't being found. I was trying to search for one time pad and search gave me nothing. Ugh.

Edit to prove I'm not bonkers:

I eventually found the thread I was looking for
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26420&search_id=781302361
and the words "one time pad" are definitely there in the thread.

Word less than 5-letters long are ignored as search terms; they just aren't indexed.

Using the google search function of uF with "one time pad" works fine.

That's weird, since I searched using the word "node" to eventually find the thread. Is that because of indexing?

Yes it does. I just got so used to not using it that I didn't check. Embarassed

I'll have to remember that next time.

I was under the impression that indexing had a minimum of greater than 3 letter words. I don't know if the recent updates had any impact on that.

different search function issue....

I was using search to find my own posts from CTW2. I used an author search, and narrowed it by specific forum.

It looked like it worked, and there was multiple pages of results. page 1 was all from CTW2, but when I tried to go to page 2 of my search, it was my much more recent posts from every thread/forum.
