I'll be interested to see what the payoff/motivation behind this ARG was. It clearly wasn't marketing based, as the Dark Knight's was.

I mean, that whole idea was to do things so awesome that people would talk about it. "THERE WAS A PHONE NUMBER IN THE SKY!", etc.

I notice someone mention the date of 5-12-09. They were hoping it would be an american one. That reminded me of the fact I wanted to buy a the Star Trek Trek: The Motion Picture Trilogy. Interesting note is, that on walmart.com, the release date is 5-12-09.

Yes! If we give awards (Oscars, and Rasberries) to the "players".. then I would heartily encourage we give:

Absolutely fun. And the A40 Curbridge site, as I mentioned was SUPERBLY fun. The joy we had looking at that image. Those of us who were familiar with Monte Thrasher's Romulan Alphabet had so much fun. And then the sign, and trying to make out 0,1,4,5 which are so similar!

And finally identifying the City Hall connection for Tokyo, Berlin, Madrid and LA. That sure made the game seem large.

I was hoping for more Romulan.

On a side note, now that I have my copy of the Countdown Comic. Noticed that they didn't use the Thrasher Romulan, but that other Fan-based Romulan alphabet. INTERESTING! Boborci must have missed that.

I was watching/listening to the video again last night and where I put [creative?], it think he's actually saying "primitive" which would coincide with the Vulcans' feelings of humans (especially at this point).

New emails from Thad went out today, according to multiple people. Many of them contained links to the Chat site http://www.2387-42.com/ or http://97.74.158.186/ which now contains security camera footage of Kaleh being captured.

Mine said simply, "Where are you?"

I have been offering to help CTT capture the rogues and asking for their status. I was trying to play the CTT sympathizer role, just to keep things interesting. I sent my GPS coordinates in reply to this recent email. If someone shows up to kill me, I'll be sure to ask if I can post here first. Wink

Did anyone else hear from Thad/CTT today? What do you think about the video I linked above? I looks to me like #4 aka Fe aka Candir (the male) set up #5 aka O aka Kaleh (the female).

Ok, Probably the best Star Trek movie ever! I have to see it again before I decide. INCREDIBLE.

While the ARG left me wanting more, substance-wise, the movie is INCREDIBLE. I went and saw it last night at IMAX and it blew my mind!

I guess so... I'm even more disappointed in this game if they give us that distorted video from Vulcan, the kidnapping of "O" video... and then end the game there...

...oh and I'm totally stoked to see the movie tonight!!
