Thank you for joining OracleWatch.Org.

You have been provided sufficient information indicating the exact date that all hell will break loose.

We will be in touch.

Enjoy your summer.

I got the same email. Ditto. Didn't get the memo either. Unless *** is sufficient info.

It says enjoy your summer. I hope this isn't starting in the fall.

lol, I think they must be using some other definition of the word "sufficient". or maybe today is opposite day?

The image at the oraclewatch "join us" page says "Do you know when?" so, combined with a hint about an "exact date", I'm assuming this is a valid puzzle. But I don't remember anything that might point to dates, except that "***" tease. Oh wait -

The sol magic square? Was the sequence progressing one number per day? Maybe the end of the magic square sequence is when hell breaks loose?

edit - the sequence actually wasn't one per day, it was
4/12 - 6
4/13 - 32
4/14 - 3
4/15 - 34
4/16 - 35
4/16 - 1
4/17 - 7
4/17 - 11
4/18 - 27

Assuming one card per day AFTER that point, today (5/9) we would be on square 12, which would put the last square, 31, on 5/15.

But, assuming that sequence continues repeating - 1 card per day for 4 days, then 2 cards per day for 2 days - that would put us on the last square, 31, today (5/9).

And - the source message said "on ***". Assuming one character per *, and following the 589 to 5/8/9 transformation, the last character is likely 9, so we are looking for a single digit month and a single digit day. If it isn't 5/9/9, then we're likely to be waiting until at least 6/1/9 for the promised "so much more".

So, I'm suggesting we brace for hell to break loose something today, folks. Worst case, by 5/15, unless they've totally hosed their clues up (or unless I have.)

That seems plausible... since it was the Watchers who were posting the Sol sequence themselves.
Half the characters in the game (esp. Bricker) have hinted that something is going down, and going down very soon. And both Bricker and Rage have gone into 'hiding', so to speak, this weekend. So I really don't think the 'enjoy your summer' was a hint that this is going to really "start" in the fall... took it more like we're going to have an adventurous summer ahead of us.

Man, hurrying through the puzzles to only have to wait again, haha. /impatient

I'm starting to think we've missed more than just one clue. And frankly, I'm feeling a bit embarrassed, Embarassed .
Ever since I got that package in the mail, I've been hella excited about it - but I haven't found anything in there that might be a clue.
So last night once my flight got in - I read it from cover to cover (didn't take long - not a very long book). But I tried to include Port's thoughts/scribbles/notes etc more into that part of the book. And it's no doubt that several of the things he put in there, make more sense now - like the comment written on the back flap:
Quote:
This is bigger than Stain. Much.

But I think there's more to this, than just foreshadowing - I just can't seem to see it. I think part of the problem is, I've assumed that most of it just meta/background and/or meaningless scribbles. However, if I assume the other way...
The only thing that has really stood out so far, taking nothing for granted, is in the beginning of the book, the Table of Contents
- there are arrows starting at the last chapter and basically encouraging the reader to start at the back of the book, and move forward...? I'll start reviewing it that way as soon as I get a chance this evening. There is also this page. At first I kept looking at this "I have dreams of this place" and thought - oookaaayy.. But using a bit of free association, to me it says Oracle's Tower (I know this is probably obvious to the rest of you, lol, but let me feel smart for a minute). The one piece that does confuse me on that page is the fact that apparently Port drew in the bunny ears on that figure standing next to the Tower. Why?? Isn't that a Rage thing?

Sorry for the book here, but one other thing. "Rage, AP" is also written in Port's book. So this would say to me, that at some point in the "future" or a part of the story we haven't received yet - Port discovers who came into his apartment and smoked the 2 G-men. More foreshadowing.

If anyone else has a minute - take a look at the pics - I snapped one of everything that had anything on it. See if anything jumps out at you. If you think I missed something, and want a different/better/new pic - lemme know - I'll get it posted asap.

@wulf - okay, just brainstorming - "This is bigger than Stain" is written on the inside of the dustjacket at the right hand edge. Is there anything else on the inside of the dustjacket? Is there anything on the outside of the hard cover itself (in other words, on the outside of the book, but under the dustjacket)?

Nope. I even went and double-checked when you mentioned it. The cover as you could see from the photos was pretty beat-up, but that was the only thing written on it. Under the jacket, the book is in decent condition, but nothing written there either. And for the sake of thoroughness, I opened the book to the middle, and looked to see if I could see anything in the spine of the book - but that is still well glued. Good catch tho.

H'okay.

So I got that ticket back today--I had used my parents' place as the return address--and it was not a 'bad address', as I was told, but rather... it was supposed to be forwarded to a new address, but that postal service expired.

The address it was supposed to be sent to is 4456 Culebra Ave, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409-3413. If you'll note, there's no street view of the address, but it's apparently the address of a daycare? Judging by the satelite view, it seems to be in a commerical district in a larger building... there might be multiple offices inside that building, too. Definitely not a house, though.

Think I should try to resend the ticket to this address, guys? Or maybe try to contact Bricker again to 'wtf' at him, as he knowingly gave me an outdated address, for whatever reason. (Part of me wonders if I just unwillingly discovered the PM HQ, but I want to believe that our crazy PMs wouldn't overlook that detail that these forwarding services expire...)

Sorry, I disagree - look at this picture, and read the description, of a property just around the corner

I agree that these buildings do look weird. But that appears to be a be a listing for a 3 bed, 2 bath house or condo or townhome or something. The "bird's eye view" on that page can actually be moved, and if look off to the left just a little bit, there are 2 swimming pools. Some of the parking is covered & some isn't. This all smells residential, not commercial, to me.

And people run daycare's out of their homes, it is difficult to tell if that listing for a daycare is recent or obsolete.

If it was me, I'd just contact Bricker and just ask him what's up with the address he gave you.

Hmm. I see what you are saying. Might be a townhome of sorts, then.

Still! Weird that he would give me an out-of-date address. I have a feeling I was not supposed to see this address... I did send an email to him, but since he's apparently out of town for however long, I dunno if I'll get a response.

edit;; huh

I got a very general 'vacation response' type of message from Bricker. So no thoughts as to what the hell is up with this address yet. However, it had this image attached, which has this written at the bottom:

"'Hmm.' She paused thoughtfully. 'I should speak to the Wolf before (persuing?) the writer.'"

(A very gentle cluebat, perhaps?)

Does that mean it's time to talk to Rage? Or that we have to wait?

I'd be tempted to consider "speak to the Wolf" as a reference to Wulf74.
