I wanted to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to Cora (Janus), Mary-Todd (Tomas), Isabel (Lucian), Vera (Ekaterina), Katsmom, and all the other mothers in the 39 Clues world.

Beyond the Grave, scheduled June 2, 2009.

Book 5 comes out on August 11th. They've only got 10 weeks between book 4 and 5.

It's possible the schedule is something like this:
week 0, June 3rd: first video, no card.
week 2: 2nd video, 1st card.
week 4: 3rd video, 2nd card.
week 6: 4th video, 3rd card.
week 8: 5th video, 4th card.
week 10, Aug 10th: 6th video, 5th card, revealing the location of the clue hunt for Book 5.

I just thought, if it is the secret to immortal life we're looking for and Grace found them all in one night. Why didn't she use the secret on herself, keeping Dan and Amy safe and saving herself?

My speculations (some of them have already been posted):

-- Maybe she didn't want to live forever due to personal reasons (loss of only child etc.)

-- She didn't fell herself worthy enough for the ultimate prize (guilty conscious of past, unknown sins)

-- She wanted her children/ grandchildren to surpass her, she just kept tabs on Clues to help them

-- She wanted the worthy one to win. This explains why she took the trouble to hold an open contest instead of just telling A&D to find the clues. Also explains why she didn't give A&D inside info. Again, she kept tabs to help people on the quest.

PS. Why do they need to reveal the next location? Won't we know from Book 4's ending? Like in other books?

I think she did use it on herself and that she is not dead yet. I think that she might appear in the "Black Circle." Considering that I think she is a Madrigal and book 5 is about Madrigal.
