there's always the anti-climactic option of just telling them 'yeah, no, you can still catch up.' even if it's in a cryptic EPWA sorta way.

just sayin' >_>

also, considering the PM's read this forum i would think if we were stepping on their plans that they'd have contacted us by now. it's not like they don't have all our emails.

but yeah. keep it simple. as fun as it'd be to have a plant, a map under a phone that gets them on their way might suffice if we can't get the scheduling right.

Why not make an event out of it. Even if I cant make it, Ever can wear the shark and you guys can still party it up. but some good points are being raised.

So maybe hold off and do more planning for our cragslist newbie, but for those who want to do some EPWA CHALK OPS, I'm still free tomorrow, so let me know via email or PM.

On the move again?

Hi Everybody!

I noticed a number of very freshly posted Jejune fliers in Oakland/Berkeley as I was walking home tonight. (they weren't there this morning) I haven't seen them around this area before (College/Alcatraz, and also at Rockridge BART). The content was the same (Vital Orbit & Time Camera).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.nonchalance.org/3/L/S/3/W/H/3/R/3/ is also back up and functional again

What are they up to? Very Happy

It's great the second time through... I did part one again with my wife a couple weeks ago (along with two very young, but well behaved Smile children ((who might be the youngest 'inductees'?))

Anyway, I've dug all posts and info here, and figured I'd post rather than continue to lurk!

cheers to the future ->
ds/d

Ding!

I didn't notice this before ... perhaps it is "old hat."

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Huh! That's new. I mean, there was always the reference to it, but no link. Thanks for the head's-up! Or alternately: good work, you fixed it!

Act Extender.

> you fixed it!

Ha! That would be interesting, a game in which you were presented with broken things that needed fixing to work.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Now where do we find a EPWA official to stamp these things?

---

You know how in video games there are rewards you don't necessary have to collect every instance of, but you still finish the level anyway? Like the coins in Super Mario Bros. And there are people that make videos of them "completing" the level, getting all the coins?

Yeah.

Apply the same thing here. It's Act Extender!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

We could even make a little inscrutable sig-type code that indicated how far along we are in the new quest+! First initials, in order on the sheet: david mike kippy jun dorothy = dmkjd

So mine would be:

---j-

Yep, went to Jun twice after failing a few times to find anyone else. See, I have even more reason to do this.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So Agent Ultramundane managed to procure a coin from Dorothy. He apparently was the first one to do so, a fact he discovered when she informed him of such during the transaction, followed up by, "I thought this was a prank. I didn't think anyone would be coming for these."

i hope you mean that you just want to find them and not necessarily get a hobo coin from each of them. one of my friends bragged that they got 5 coins for 5 dollars from one of the hobos and i just thought to myself 'you know, those are supposed to recirculate back to those shops we use them at... not sure you should have so many if you've already got the clues that they were for.'

Money Supply.

That's how to grow the value of the hobo nickel! Soon to replace the petrodollar.

So if anyone is interested in doing this, they can just roll the coins back into the shops without getting anything in exchange.

lol, I leave and everyone goes crazy Wink

Or maybe it's just the mid-act boredom. Isn't there an A-Track recording we can excavate from a Buddhist temple somewhere? Wink
