Good work, Merago! Sometimes it's hard to let something go. I guess 25 was one of those things.

I'm beginning to think that 4.html may have been a distraction or taunt inspired by us tryin to find what 'itl referred to in the latest image. If that's the case, we're still looking for our solve.
Oh, and all I did was Copy-Paste-Click using online decryption tools. Not really Herculean!

I've been following and have been able to solve most of the puzzles myself, except the ones with "NORTH-8NORTH-1NORTHWEST...", how do you get the solutions for these?

maybe, maybe not:
run it through Vigenere, using
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
chimera
as a key and you get
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
murolces odro suvon
, which is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Novus Ordo Seclorum backwards
.

Heya N. What is called The Key (used for compass solves) is on page 12 of this thread.
OT-pain meds from sprained ankle kicking in. Already mentioned to Bruce these are elegant solves by a fab team. The illiminati wouldn't be a match -OUT
....maybe though a nuclear winter just signifies Anipanda's idea of New Order ?**naptime now**

Wasn't there something in Cryptonomicon by Stephenson with "Novus Ordo Seclorum" ?
Lemme see if I can find it out - I'm thinking it was the name of the software used to encrypt emails in the 'modern time' storyline

Ordo was an encryption software if memory serves me right.

I've been reading around, and seems like "novus ordo seclorum" actually translates to "new order of the ages" and is what is written in the great seal of the united states, and in Yale's coat of arms. Here you can read a bit about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novus_Ordo_Seclorum

The phrase is often mistranslated as "New World Order," for which the Latin would be Novus Ordo Mundi.
DOH! I stand corrected!

I also thought it meant what you said, it's just that wikipedia is wiser sometimes XD
back on topic, what should we do with this novus ordo seclorum thing? It was written backwards, and it's written in the reverse of the seal of the united states, but writing "seal" backwards in the argensoft web doesn't work (laes.html). I'm trying some more words backwards related to this, but I can't find anything that works...

umm...I just figured i'd throw a thought out there.
Synonym in the tweet was backwards, and so was the Novus Ordo Seclorum text.
Maybe it means you should do the OPPOSITE of synonym? I tried 36, which is 12*3 but I didn't get anything, but maybe there's something else i'm missing here.
