Mission City conspiracy = conspiracy to cover up the battle that occurred in Mission City during TF 1. Guess his agent or whatever is a conspiracy nut...

I'm crossing my fingers that we get another game tied into the film, I had a blast moderating the StopSectorSeven.org Buzznet site. They even sent me a 'thank you' poster signed by Peter Cullen (aka "Optimus Prime").
I'll just wait and see what comes of this...

I, too, will be keeping an eye on this. Seems like it'll definitely be some kind of viral marketing thing, but I don't know if it'll be an ARG since there's only about a month until ROTF is in theaters.

Those Were Some Days Ahhh yes, I lost a lot of time searching for clues during that Sector Seven ARG. I just logged in the other day to the site and Megatron is still frozen.

IT'S LIVE!
*off to explore*

EDIT:
So far I didnt find anything TF related
until page 6:

Looks like some cool amateur pics of Starscream
and the other article:

ummm... I think Optimus? He mentions flames...
Wow, there's a lot of posts, no wonder it took a bit to launch. Looks like the site revolves around: UFOs, Robot uprisings, and ... Olivia Munn?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the gov't report mentions Mendelson Robotics as the one responsible for the "robotic accident" in Mission City.
Here's the site, not much on it yet: http://www.mendelsonrobotics.com/
Here's something interesting:
apparently "Robo-Warrior" who runs GiantEffingRobots.com, is in fact Simmons (John Turturro's Character) from the first movie?

Well, the whois for the Mendelson Robotics site leads to a marketing company that:
Quote:
create a greater awareness for our clients by using a cutting edge promotional marketing method to bring their products or services directly to the community
So it may end up being something later, or it may just be a cover site (ie., something registered so a gamejacker doesn't try to get it).
Sent them (Mendelson Robotics) a congratulatory letter (infoSPLAT mendelsonrobotics.com, per a guess) about being cleared in the "Mission City" case. Waiting for a bounce or a reply. Either way I'll let you know what happens.
EDIT: A hour has passed with no bounce. That doesn't mean that anyone is at the address, but it does seem to work through gmail, at least.
Just a question as well. What is up with the little red triangle thing on TheRealEffinDeals' blog profile pic?

The ads are kinda funny at therealeffingdeal.com:
http://www.realeffingkittencalendars.com/
http://www.cafepress.com/RealEffingMerch.369954661
But the kittens are kinda cute though..I bet if they'll have some stock, they could be clues in the calendars..or in the clothes or thongs, perhaps?
xD

Well, I'll buy my gf a pair of the thongs, ask her if I can "look for clues" on them and report what I find.
That being said, there does seem to be a lack of communication here. A lot of waiting for responses. Maybe they are getting a lot? Meh.

Accidental? Mendelson Robotics? The government is really doing a good job on covering up for our heroes on Mission City, huh?
Just found this document on the about site of TheRealEffingDeal:
http://www.therealeffingdeal.com/blog/uploads/dod-29874-missioncity.pdf
Let's see if we can try to "decipher" it..? xD
Sorry for my English folks.
