why is everyone trying to tie this into halo 2? It might have some things in common bust this is a whole story of itself i'm betting.

I heard someone say earlier that james sounds a lot like the chief then every one shot him down saying the chiefs voice sounds ruffer then his but this could be how the chief sounds with his helmet off Dunno Dunno Dunno Dunce

let me check sound files together. maybe, and just maybe, it could be the chief BEFORE evn halo 1??
Chief is about 21-24 when halo 1 happens. I'm pretty sure.

Way out:

Chiefs birth year: 2511
Halo: 2552

Chief is 41 in halo 1
Wow, I was pretty off. Chief is too old now Confused

At the very least, trim your quotes down to just the post you're replying to.

Exactly! Also, if I could add. People are tying this to Halo 2 because

1 - this takes place in the Haloverse
2 - Halo 2 comes out this year

Even if it's not tied to Halo 2, I could see where people are coming from. Why question it if you're not going to refute it's NOT tied with some proof?

Well, stopping will only destory clarity... instead, please just trim your quotes to:

a) The previous message only,
and
b) The portion you are commenting on...

Thanks

I'd say there's a 95% chance this is about Halo 2, and a 5% chance of something else related to Halo (another game, movie, new type of honey candy or whatever)

Yes can we please get back on topic, it's getting quite irritating =/

We did refer to Durga being a goddess earlier.

With that information we also brought up Jersey saying "Trust me, it's at least partly right." When he named the AI, Durga.....

I still really think Durga as Covenant AI is a good fitting theory. The momentary blackout in the audio clips could be the point of entry, when Durga was implanted. I think the name Durga also hints at Covenant involvement. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Covenant itself is a union of alien species who united to fight against humanity, right? So in the Durga mythology, the gods united themselves to fight against evil, and the avatar of their union was Durga. The parallels there are pretty striking to me.

This is a frighteningly good point, and would explain the constructs trying to access Jersey's computer to delete her.

Hmm, but Jersey doesnt seem to know what Durga actually is when he names her Durga and says "It's at least partly right".

So he wouldnt have known she was a convenant AI...
