The competition will be toughest ever in Second Life
The competition is said to be the toughest ever in Second life

We are celebrating cultural diversity day in a different way in second life.
Here we are calling the best of the builders and architects and asking them to make the best of the old cultural heritage monuments from all over the world. This is supposed to be the toughest of all the building competitions in all SL as the builders will be using just a limited number of prims and that too in a very small and limited area.
They would be encouraged to make the miniature forms of these monuments. But, How is it tough...???
creating miniature objects can be a little tough but still there is no challenge in the whole thing.
The BIG CHALLENGE is that the builders would not be given just one building to build but actually two buildings or monuments together and being a cultural diversity day they will have to combine these monuments in such a way that they can present us a completely new monument and non of the monuments actually loose any respect.
If you find such a compitition interesting enough and if you have already started thinking of how can this be made possible then please register your self at REFLECTIONS 2009, http://zensar.com/media_spotlight-cultural-diversity-event-second-life-Registration.html

Also there is another competition and this time its the fashion designers all over the second life who would be tested.
The fashion Designers in second life make clothes that usually out of the ordinary and really make the person look ultra modernistic. The competition breaks this jinx and takes you back to the interesting things in the cultures all around the world.
But we are calling this as the toughest not just because we doing something out of the mainstream SL fashion but because we would still be searching for innovativeness in the dresses.
The competition would be going like this :-
All designers would be asked to choose about five cultures from the list of ten most prevalant cultures around the world. They would be asked to present 1 dress per culture they choose.
Then they would be asked to form an innovative modern dress keeping the basic designs of the cultural dress in mind.
In this innovation they also will have a choice to blend any number of cultures into one single dress.
This competition would act as a great platform for them showcase their talent.
Please register to the competiton at http://zensar.com/media_spotlight-cultural-diversity-event-second-life-Registration.html

Thanks for the info. As this is hardly on topic for this forum though, this is more than enough self-promotion. Please leave it at that.
