We've established that Sunnyvale does exist, but I didn't see anyone correct the original error: Buffy lived in Sunnydale, a made-up town. (Spelling counts!)

hahaha -- no, I've been up in Santa Rosa for a like 2 years now, the reason i haven't been in chat is that for whatever reason i *con't* connect from work anymore (and since i'm always here) that kind of kills my fun Smile

I'm trying to find a work-around but until then i'm kind of screwed Smile

I've been away!
Hey everyone! I've been away for awhile, and I run across a Werewolf ARG as soon as I come back!!! Shocked

I'll be keeping my eye on this one! Anyone compile the clues so far, so that those of us "late to the party" can try and catch up???

EDIT: Just read up on all 6 pages and their doesn't appear to be any loose ends left except possibly the Facebook lead??? More than likely, just viral ad?! TOO BAD!

EDIT#2: After examining the Wolfeyes image on the website and the image that enaxor found and thought was the original, I decided to do some photoshop to indeed CONFIRM that the images are the same.

urawerewolf has been updated with another line of number runes.

23-8-25 WHY, 23-8-15 WHO, 8-15-23 HOW

Each of the three sets leads to a separate page. The last set "HOW" leads to a page where we're suppose to input an answer. The url ends with /cannon and the page is titled Vespers.

 		Vespers in one of the Canonical Hours, also known as the evening prayer, it's followed by Compline, the Night Prayer, or Prayers at the End of the Day. If you enter Compline you get another page with this message. "You and your pack must find the clues", and another submit form.

ETA If you enter each of the Liturgy of Hours you get a different message.

Matins - You must follow instructions.
Lauds - You are being tested.
Prime - Questions will be asked here.
Sext - You will have an hour once the hunt begins.
None - There will be rewards for those who perform well.
Vespers - You are being tested.
Compline - You and your pack must find the clues

 		So, at this stage it looks fairly primitive. Combining all the messages in order (ignoring Lauds and Vespers) essentially gives you a rough description of ARG. Now, the question that's begging is: "Why do vespers and lauds - two of the most important prayer times - give no response?"

[SPEC] At the end of the count-down, these will have messages that will lead to the next phase. [/SPEC]

Alternatively, these will remain the same. However, it is odd given that they are so important (at least in the canonical hours sense).

The file from the website is only 116KB with dimensions 2036 x 908. It seems reasonable to me (given the resolution). However, I agree that the alt in the code might be suggestive of a steg: "look here for The Path You Will Take".

However, when I tried to search for a tandem file (aka stegged file, aka camouflaged file), it turned up nothing. Of course, the file might be password protected, but at this stage I think it does not have a tandem file.

I think we're still in the pre-game gathering: a few puzzles to lure us into the rabbit hole and then the hunt begins when the count down reaches 0.
