 		I just got a dog bone like Space's in the mail. The return address and the contents are the same. The only difference is that my dog has been really interested in me since I returned from the mailbox.

The file from the website is only 116KB with dimensions 2036 x 908. It seems reasonable to me (given the resolution). However, I agree that the alt in the code might be suggestive of a steg: "look here for The Path You Will Take".

However, when I tried to search for a tandem file (aka stegged file, aka camouflaged file), it turned up nothing. Of course, the file might be password protected, but at this stage I think it does not have a tandem file.

I think we're still in the pre-game gathering: a few puzzles to lure us into the rabbit hole and then the hunt begins when the count down reaches 0.



I'm sure you're right, it just tended to send up red flags with me since the original picture of the WHOLE wolf was only 38K. Therefore, to to cut such a small section from it and photoshop it, it would be nearly impossible to add that much info from editing even saving it in such a large format.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting back into ARGs and though my talents are limited and RUSTY, I'll be here and helping out where I can!! Very Happy

Here's the trick: if I'm correct abuot no steg, then the"original" is not actually the original but a low-res of the original (res=571x238), whereas wolfeyes is 2036 x 908.

(I'd love it if there was a steg though!)

Fair enough, I can live with that. Very Happy

Since I'm trying to wrap my head around the WHOLE concept of this I'm going to think out loud for one second. The reference to us being a "pack" leads me to believe we are part of the werewolf group. Our target is a "threat" to this group. We need to have someone present at the event in Ohio?

I haven't read anywhere that someone will be present at the event, and I haven't seen any confirmation as to who the target is??? (Although, Swann seems to be a logical choice.)

 		Alright it started...

The screen now shows the old runes and the message "Enter the hunt".

If you click on "Enter the hunt" there again the pic of the wolf and a mask asking you to enter your location. Also there is a timer counting down 60 minutes.

I'm from germany (explaining my bad english) i hope that i'm still able to participate =/

 		Also the title of the page is "The Hunt begins", the page itself is called "thehuntisafoot"

The "Send"-Button has different mousover-messages:

- one word only

- forget case

- alphanumeric

- do not spell out numbers

- no repeats
