another gaming site received the same brochure, Gaming Shogun
I'm intrigued by the completely fake phone number and mailing address.

I love the name of the doctor who signed the postcard, "A. Mynd Faulker".

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Giant Bomb mentions SouthPeak Games, which are the same people that did Velvet Assassin and the "Violette's Dream" ARG.

For those interested I am posting the photos shown on GiantBomb.
I also don't see an email address so I'm assuming this will be a waiting game so long as at least one of those sites sends the postcard back?

What if somebody were to print out the front and back of the postcard onto stiff paper thus making their own postcard?

Hey all, just wanted to let you know I am sending back the Gaming Shogun postcard now and will post any updates I find to this forum as well.
Most people are thinking Alan Wake and I guess it makes sense. For those thinking Velvet Assassin, that would make sense too if the game's heroine were at that hospital. However, with the game tanking so bad recently I can't imagine this as their way to boost sales.

Interestingly, while Pelf, MI seems to be fictional the 49024 zip code listed on the letter is, in fact, a MI zip code - Kalamazoo. Probably means absolutely nothing, other than a neat bit of verisimilitude.

Hmm...The phone number no longer works.
The insurance providers make me giggle.

Do you mean you tried it and it didn't work or that you tried it and got something but now it doesn't work?

I just dialed it and got a little "58-3..the number you are calling is invalid" message.
Double checking.....yep, same thing.

I'll have to watch this. I'm a sucker for anything involving mental institutions.
